Position Overview Responsibilities include teaching courses in the undergraduate program, along with leadership responsibilities as the BSW Program Director. The candidate selected for this position will be expected to oversee day-to-day operations of the online BSW program, including scheduling, course development, advising, and program assessment; Ensure ongoing compliance with CSWE Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards (EPAS); Coordinate with field education director to support remote field placements and supervision; Lead curriculum review, development, and online pedagogy planning; Manage online program growth, marketing collaboration, and student success initiatives; Teach 6 online courses per academic year across generalist curriculum areas (e.g., HBSE, policy, practice); Maintain virtual office hours and provide accessible academic advising and mentoring; Serve on departmental, college, and university committees; Collaborate with admissions, instructional design, and IT to ensure quality online delivery; Support recruitment, orientation, and retention of online BSW students. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in social work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited Social Work program and a minimum of two years full-time professional practice experience (post-Master's degree). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience teaching multiple courses across the social work curriculum. Experience with academic program leadership or coordination. Familiarity with online learning management systems (e.g., Canvas). Knowledge of online student support needs, inclusive pedagogy, and digital accessibility.
