Job Summary:
Manages and oversees large-scale and high-impact enterprise projects. Responsibilities
Responsible for the triage of customer reported issues, identifying, documenting and configuration recommendations for a SCADA platform
Work closely with our product and engineering teams to provide detailed problem descriptions of customer incidents and requested improvements
Participate in the configuration, enhancement, and testing phases associated with software changes
Ensure our customers have a positive experience by driving timely first response, customer updates and support resolutions
Ensure proper documentation of assigned incidents, including internal and external communications

You will work closely with our Surgical Account Managers and Commercial Sales and clinical team who will be responsible for driving growth across the US. Through our Impella product portfolio you will enable physicians and staff to recover hearts and save patients' lives.
You will be responsible for:
* Train, educate, and support combined CT/Heart Failure programs on the proper use of the Impella.
* Full customer immersion (ie. input on patient selection and subsequent surgical support) within 5.5 sites to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* Device expertise and support on Impella to assist with the adoption of the full portfolio beyond 5.5 commercial launch responsibilities.
* Surgical implant and unit support readiness including training and education at existing sites.
* Internal collaboration with the Surgical Leadership Team, Training Team, Engineering Team, Marketing, Professional Education, Clinical, as well as with R&D.
* Participate in On Call support rotation
* Maintain contact with all customers to evaluate clinical and educational needs.
* Performs device training on full Impella Device line-up.
* Be a functional expert and provide advanced acumen on the durable, acute, and hemodynamic medical device landscape and best practices in the management of those devices.
* Cultivates close relationships with strategic business partners and key opinion leaders.
* Call point(s): Cardiac Surgeons, Heart Failure Cardiologists, OR teams, Intensivists, Perfusionists, and ICU/ Step Down Unit teams.
Qualifications / Requirements:
* Bachelors' Degree required; Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Surgical Physician's Assistant (PA), or Perfusionist licensure
* Direct (at the table) experience in Cardiac Surgery/Perfusion, 5+ years preferred.
* Direct patient management experience in one of the following scenarios: a cardiothoracic ICU caring for post-op tMCS (excluding IABP) or durable MCS (does not include experience as an Abiomed field clinical), or direct experience assisting in the CVOR required.
* Confidence, expertise and, familiarity of cardiac surgery and OR protocol is required.
* Willingness to travel/ cover multiple geographies required.
* Up to 50%-overnight travel may be required depending on territory.
* Previous experience with Abiomed Impella 5.5 required; other Cardiac medical devices highly desired.
* Ability to drive patient outcomes required.
* Conduct duties and responsibilities in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry required.

The base pay for this position is $125,000. The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.

Experience with manufacturing processes, Sheet metal cutting/forming, HVAC system design, new product development preferred.
Experience with stage gate, phase driven and AGILE product/solution development processes.
Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Ability to lead and motivate teams, influence stakeholders, and resolve conflicts.
Experienced in Microsoft Office, MS project, SAP, and other enterprise software platforms.
Good organizational and time management skills.

Associate Project Manager
Purpose:
Under general supervision, this position performs responsible and professional work by planning, developing, and implementing project efforts that utilize solutions for one or more small- to medium-sized or moderately complex projects. This position serves as liaison with contractors, consultants, and departments.
Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.
Manages and coordinates projects and activities between members of the management team, various departments, public agencies, and/or private sector representatives.
Develops methods, procedures, and quality objectives including metrics for assessing progress; and utilizes established project standards, procedures, and quality objectives.
Develops detailed project plans and schedules, monitors progress, analyzes information and reports, and revises the schedule, as necessary.
Assists or leads, as necessary, in the management of the selection process and administers consultant services, including negotiating contract terms and fees, approving the consultant's product, approving payment to consultant, initiating poor performance remedies, etc.
Conducts project kickoff meetings, communicates roles and project expectations, and ensures project team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively.
Provides work direction and leadership to assigned projects including scheduling, assignment of work, and review of project efforts.
Monitors project milestones and critical dates to identify potential risk to project schedule; identifies ways to resolve schedule issues; keeps management current on any changes.
Manages, monitors, and reviews contracts and contractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including administering change orders and estimates.
Assesses variances from the project plans; gathers metrics and develops and implements changes as necessary to ensure that the project remains within specified scope and is within time, cost, and quality objectives.
Provides technical advice and assistance to City management, field personnel, contractors, etc.

Experience managing the design and construction of roadway, traffic signal, stormwater, utilities, and trail engineering projects.

Experience using contract documents in resolving disputes or claims.

The position actively manages small to medium civil engineering projects. The Associate Project Manager (APM) is part of a team of Project Managers (PM) and Capital Delivery Project Managers (CPDM) that collectively manage small to very large multi-million-dollar roadway, traffic signal, stormwater, utilities, and trail engineering projects. The APM position is able to telecommute 60% of the work week and is self-motivated and independent; however, the APM works closely with other PMs and CDPMs and engages in a team approach to ensure project success.
