Salary: $15.80 - $17.25 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full Time, Days and Evenings available
In this position, your main responsibilities will include:
Providing residents with assistance in the activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing and maintaining their personal environment.
Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans as well as obtaining vital signs.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences and skills.
High School diploma or equivalent is required
All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
CPR certification preferred.
Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.

The primary function of this position is to aid residents that have limited mobility by helping them walk or transporting in wheelchairs to/from their dental appointment. This position covers their home market which includes driving up to a 2-3 hour radius. Mileage reimbursement is included, as well as paid time for all driving that exceeds normal commute time.

Position Summary
As a Resident Assistant, you will provide support and care to the residents in activities of daily living, fostering independence, promoting individuality, while respecting and protecting each resident's right to privacy in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations. Also, you will support the team in optimizing each resident's well-being and overall experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Support, encourage and assist residents with activities of daily living, to include bathing support, medication reminders, assistance with clothing and other needs as appropriate
Escort residents to the dining room and other activity events as needed
Respond promptly to the Emergency Call System to assist residents with their needs
Report to Management any deviations or changes observed in resident
Deliver meal trays to apartments of residents upon request
Assist with housekeeping which includes cleaning resident apartments, common areas, and laundry duties
Assist with meal service, including the serving of meals to residents in the dining room, as well as clean up duties including washing dishes, mopping floors, etc.
Cross train and share in duties as needed in all areas including visitor tours, answering phones, helping with activities, etc.
Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements
Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Skills/Experience
CNA and First Aid certification preferred
0-2 years of previous work experience
Clearly communicate with residents, employees, resident families and visitors
Read and interpret general directives
Effectively respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers and public
Organize work among fellow employees to ensure that all work is complete
Read proper dosage measure amounts
Identify problems and use problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Maintain and promote a good working relationship with staff, families and residents is essential
Exhibit and promote a high level of customer service and hospitality towards and among all residents, employees, visitors and the community

The Position:
The primary function of this position is to aid residents that have limited mobility by helping them walk or transporting in wheelchairs to/from their dental appointment. The resident assistant will also assist the clinical team with Patient Census Reports, obtaining face sheets and other assigned administrative type duties.
Location:
* This position covers their home market which includes driving up to a 2-3 hour radius. Mileage reimbursement is included, as well as paid time for all driving that exceeds normal commute time.
* Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
* Work is performed within nursing home settings. Candidate must have the ability to push/pull more or less than 200lbs in a wheelchair.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position working on average 6 hours per day, 5 days per week.
Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* 1-3 years previous experience as a a caregiver, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA) or similar roles within a nursing home setting is a plus.
