About the Role The IT Strategic Sourcing Manager will execute sourcing projects that accomplish the goals of both the organization and the IT business units they support, striving to optimize Total Cost of Ownership while creating efficiencies. This person will be responsible for leading IT strategic sourcing projects from start-to-finish, including process steps such as vendor research, category/market research, market index analysis, data analysis, baseline development, RFP development, competitive bid strategy/management, negotiations, offer analysis and scenario development. This role will also be involved in post-bid management, which includes activities such as spend analysis and vendor management. He / she will manage multiple projects at a time, as well as support ad-hoc IT sourcing inquiries. Strong sourcing strategy, project management, and communications are key in this role as this person will be interacting with many Ross employees, departments, locations and vendors to facilitate cross-functional IT Sourcing activities and support other company-wide initiatives. Responsibilities Drive IT Sourcing Strategy and Process Execution Manage IT sourcing process with minimal support, start-to-finish, for simple to medium complexity projects (to include market research, sourcing strategy, RFX / event development, negotiations, management of communications, and stakeholder involvement, etc.) Develop category and negotiation strategies that drive savings or business transformation through thought leadership and industry expertise Build and maintain stakeholder relationships typically at the Director and VP level based on transparency and mutual benefit Partner with the IT organization for relationship management activities and contributes to business reviews and QBRs to maximize value from suppliers. Lead planning and ideation sessions and effectively influence stakeholders bringing new and innovative ideas Collaborate with IT portfolio owners to drive establishment and execution of Renewals and Maintenance Program strategy Conduct detailed market and IT vendor research to communicate these findings through meaningful research summaries Develop and manage IT sourcing project timelines and lead cross-functional working sessions and leadership meetings to drive key decisions. Analyze vendor bid responses (quantitatively and qualitatively) and round to round movement uncovering insights to influence sourcing strategy Facilitate the development of award scenarios and recommendations for stakeholder evaluation, consideration and decision-making Contract Development and Management Review contracts and spend to assess potential IT sourcing opportunities Meet with IT Contract Owners / IT Contracts Coordinator / Legal to follow-up on concerns relating to IT RFPs / sourcing projects Provide guidance on contract negotiations through collaborative approach with IT stakeholders Ad-Hoc Analysis and Project Support Assist in driving continuous process improvement initiatives, and adherence to policies and procedures Able to develop PowerPoint presentations for internal stakeholder communications / updates, also review other team members' deliverables Support additional duties as assigned Qualifications BA/BS in Business, Economics, Finance/Accounting, Engineering, or Computer Science MBA/JD/MS/ME preferred Minimum of 5 years IT strategic sourcing experience. Multiple IT sourcing category experience required. GENERAL PURPOSE: The Senior Manager of Store Payroll Budgeting and Planning will lead the end-to-end annual planning cycle for Store Payroll, which funds labor expenses in all Ross and dd's stores. This is a key leadership position, with P&L responsibility for one of the company's largest and most visible operating expenses. Using engineered labor standards, workload drivers, and other key inputs, the Senior Manager will ensure that the annual Budget and 5-Year Plan reflect the labor required to operate all stores - properly accounting for new initiatives, adjustments to our operations, new technology that drives efficiency, or changes to our strategy (for example, the launch of our Ross-branded credit card) that require updates to how we plan labor in Stores. In addition to "core" planning activities, the Senior Manager will conduct additional analysis on Store Payroll (for example, budget variance explanations), and will create executive-facing materials to present and explain our annual Budget and 5-Year Plan to executive leadership. The Senior Manager should approach the role through a lens of process improvement, which could include updated file structures, new systems, or leveraging new/different data sources to drive efficiency in all team processes. A successful candidate must build and leverage strong partnerships with leaders in other departments including the NYBO Planning Team, Inventory Control, and Transportation to maintain a "pulse" on the business and how key workload drivers (for Stores) will vary throughout the year. NOTE: This position is focused on the planning, budgeting, and analysis of Store Payroll expense, and sits within the Store Finance team. This role is NOT responsible for issuing employee paychecks or administering employee pay. The base salary range for this role is $121,000 - $198,700. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Lead the annual planning process for Store Payroll for all Ross and dd's Stores, centered around the Annual Budget and the 5-Year Plan o Oversight and leadership over all key Store Payroll planning processes and files o Partnership with the Method Improvements team on labor saving initiatives, to ensure they are budgeted properly o Completion of all analysis and schedules to support the recurring review of quarterly results (in preparation for the quarterly Board of Directors meeting) o Completion of roll-forwards and executive-facing summary decks o Ensuring that all relevant minimum wage increases are built into the budget, and that other wage-driving factors (e.g., full-time vs. part-time mix, overtime) are accounted for properly * Identify and implement efficiency opportunities for how we budget, plan, and manage all Store Payroll expense o Assess how we currently manage store labor expense, and identify / implement payroll process improvements, including file architecture, data sources, and the use of key systems o Proactively identify potential issues, challenges, or risks during the annual budgeting process - and lead efforts to mitigate them * Lead additional Store Payroll analyses throughout the year, particularly those related to our store labor strategy (e.g., cashier labor investments, branded credit card expansion strategy, etc.) * Communicate our Store Payroll Budget and 5-Year Plan to executive audiences, up to and including our Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer o Summarize and explain key variances, particularly those between different versions of the annual Store Payroll Budget o Draw and explain connections between changes in Store Operations and Store Labor Expense (for example, employee productivity assumptions, store operating hours, etc.) * Develop strong working relationships with key business partners in other departments and functions, and leverage these relationships to understand changes in key assumptions that impact Store Payroll spend levels in Stores o Sales plans and customer traffic o Average selling price (average unit retail / "AUR") o Minimum wage o Freight (merchandise arriving in stores) o Inventory levels o Unique or one-off events * Develop a high performing team.     GENERAL PURPOSE: This position is responsible for end-to-end execution of the seasonal creative direction in support of Ross Marketing Plans. This role manages all photography shoots, as well as a wide range of projects across TV, print, and digital marketing (web, email, and digital advertising) channels. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, an eye for design and the ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Develop and manage marketing print and digital creative assets for both seasonal on-model and product photography including but not limited to\: Develop creative briefs, timelines and project budget tracking for all applicable projects. Create quarterly shot lists for product and on-model photography based on cross-channel marketing plans. Develop and manage product sample requests by division and communicate sample needs to the Fashion Offices (FO) and Merchants. Oversee process to ensure that the correct samples are received for shoots and donated or returned in a timely way. For in-store shoots, create storyboards for each shot considering location and any necessary props. Lead execution of instore shoots with support from the internal team. Responsible for booking photo shoots, talent, hair and makeup, stylists and shop Ross for products and props as needed. Attend photo shoots, manage production logistics and direct photographers and stylists on art direction and models as needed. Oversee asset delivery to various agencies and provide / post contact sheets for all on model and product photography shoots for easy reference.
