SUBJECT: SECURITY OFFICER REPORTS TO: SECURITY SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES The Security Officer provides for the safety and protection of guests, crewmembers and company property. The officer is tasked with anticipating potential threats or harmful activities and seeking ways to intervene in order to prevent injuries or disruptions from occurring. The SECURITY OFFICER for Island View Casino Resort is responsible for safeguarding property assets and ensuring the casino environment is safe and secure for patrons and employees of the casino, as well as being responsible for the physical safety of guests, employees, and company assets and is required to greet internal and external guests, maintain a friendly and inviting atmosphere, and promote positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.The Security Officer will be responsible for escorting chips, cash, and table game drops, ensures that no unauthorized persons enter the gaming floor by checking credentials/Identification. Quickly responds to any emergency situation as required, reports any criminal or suspicious activity without hesitation, and will be required to Initiate and prepare security incident reports daily
