Lindon has full-time police, fire, and EMS services that operate out of its newer Public Safety Building (opened in February 2017). The Department consists of 16 FT officers, 5 PT reserve officers, 3 administrative staff, and a PT Emergency Planning Coordinator. Finalists for the position will be required to pass a comprehensive background investigation, as well as complete polygraph, psychological, drug, and medical examinations.
