Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):
Supervisor of Security Team Specialists I.
Patrols all buildings, grounds, and adjacent areas of the hospital at regular intervals and guards against trespass, theft, fire, and damage to property.
Maintains order among visitors and staff; maintains motor vehicle traffic controls on hospital grounds including parking,

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117, internal policies, and contractual requirements
* Serve as the primary point of contact for DCSA reviews and correspondence; prepare for and participate in DCSA Security Reviews
* Investigate National Security program-specific incidents impacting cleared personnel, accredited facilities, and/or information systems; drive corrective actions and report as required
* Develop, implement, and maintain security processes, procedures, and training to ensure a secure and compliant workplace for employees, contractors, visitors, and suppliers
* Maintain and oversee secure areas in accordance with ICD 705 standards, partnering with facilities, IT, and program teams
* Utilize and maintain government systems, including NISS, DISS, and NBIS, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant records and transactions
* Build strong external partnerships and internal stakeholder relationships to incorporate best practices and influence emerging policy

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

This position must meet the educational and training academy requirements in order to be certified as a Special State Police Officer as well as POST certification MGL 555 CMR 1.0 This position must meet all the requirements of becoming a Special Police Officer in the Town of Wellesley and Needham. Retention of valid Massachusetts Motor Vehicle Operator's License, Massachusetts Firearm License to Carry Class A is required.
This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) under the Clery Act, which is an individual to which students and employees should report criminal offenses or who has significant responsibility for student and campus activities. A CSA shall report all allegations of Clery Act crimes they receive to the Public Safety Department, so they may be investigated and published in the College's Annual Security and Fire Report.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Appointees to the Police Sergeant of Public Safety position must successfully complete a one-year probationary period. Permanent and continuing appointment is contingent upon successful completion of such training programs as designated by the Chief of Police or their designee.
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

* Monitor and record activities being conducted in and around the gaming establishment using video cameras, monitors, digital recorders, access control systems, computer dispatch, video printers, switches, and other equipment used for surveillance.
* Monitor all areas of the property, both indoor and outdoor for suspicious activity, health and safety issues, evidence of theft, cheating, scams, and procedural violations.
* Check for blind spots and camera outage or tampering.
* Log all activities observed by surveillance into the surveillance dispatch log.
* Understand and operate all Surveillance camera switching, reprogramming equipment, and use of all computer equipment.
* Controls Surveillance dispatch system for all calls to Control.
* Determines Control call priorities and dispatches security, police, fire, traffic officers, maintenance and facilities during emergencies as necessary.
* Dispatches Securityofficers as needed throughout the facility and monitor's conduct.
* Maintain familiarity with all appropriate Twin River department procedures.
* Maintain confidentiality within the established guidelines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
* Experience working with video cameras, access control systems, video printers and other equipment used in surveillance
* Previous casino experience is preferred but not required
* Basic computer software and hardware knowledge desired
* Previous experience in loss prevention preferred but not required

Compensation
