Compensation Information
Pursuant to state and local law disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience and location is $140,000 to $180,000 per year. The Senior Director Engineering is a member of the Lilly Lebanon API Manufacturing Plant Lead Team. The Lead Team has collective responsibility to develop and implement the strategic direction, organizational capability and management of the plant. Primarily, the members of the team drive the plant toward achieving long term business objectives; they continuously develop the business and the organization for the future bearing in mind corporate objectives and the continuously changing external environment; and they manage issues that span multiple teams in the organization and extend into the broader corporate/external context.
In the project delivery phase and startup phase of the project, the Plant Lead Team roles will be fluid and dynamic as we endeavor to support the project delivery, build a new organization, develop and implement the necessary systems and business processes required to support GMP operations, and build the plant culture. This will require significant collaboration, creativity and resilience as the plant grows to full scale GMP manufacturing through start up.

Pre-Startup and Startup Phase

We are seeking engineers and architects that will be responsible for performing a wide range of forensic investigations related to damage and deterioration of structures, condition assessment studies for property owners and managers, and structural and building enclosure repair and rehabilitation design to existing facilities. The work includes evaluations of commercial, residential, industrial, utility infrastructure, and municipal projects.
The Project Manager - Forensic Engineer/Architect will be responsible for managing all aspects of our investigation, assessment, and repair projects. The position requires direct daily contact with clients and staff in addition to production of technical documents. Therefore, strong oral and written communication skills are a must. The position offers the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a team. Project responsibilities will vary based on the nature of the assignment and individual aptitudes. Applicants must possess experience in or the desire to learn the evaluation of entire structures (from foundations to roofing) as well as the investigation of failures and building problems. Position requires frequent local and occasional regional travel.
Responsibilities
Conducting and/or managing investigations, assessments, and expert witness assignments in order to prepare accurate technical reports and repair documents, and occasionally provide expert testimony

Developing repair design solutions for damaged and deteriorated structures
Managing the billing process for assigned projects

Providing internal review of documents (reports, drawings, proposals, etc.) for other group members to ensure accurate, understandable, and consistent production of high-quality documents
