Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Represents the company to the customer and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with service.
Responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of highly complex capital equipment for customers.
Assures operational quality of system equipment.
Coordinates actions with customers to minimize down time.
Provides assistance to Installation engineers in resolving problems.
Evaluates, analyzes, diagnoses and troubleshoots technical equipment problems via telephone or at customer site.
Ensures equipment enhances customer production.
Repairs and updates equipment at customer facility.
Prepares fields service reports on customer support activity and provides documentation on re-occurring problems.
Contribute to the Capturing, Re-use,
Collaboration, and Improvement of knowledge using available systems.
Cross train and assist other field service engineers.

Bachelor's Level Degree and/or related work experience of 2 years

Position Summary

Essential Accountabilities
Safety Function
Perform all duties following appropriate work instructions and procedures. Wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) for tasks requiring use of PPE. Bring safety issues to the attention of the Site Services Manager. Responsible for safely operating and maintaining equipment required for the customer to produce their products. Work is typically in a team environment.
Quality Function
Follow work instructions and established procedures. Bring ideas for improvement to the TGCM Site Services Manager for consideration. Work schedule will
be performed by the terms of the contract with the customer. Complete all training that is required (based on scope of contract).
Productivity Function
Complete work as time permits. Capture all relevant information on completed work and send daily to TGCM Site Services Manager (and other recipients as required by the TGCM Site Services Manager).
Training, Education and Experience Required
High school diploma required. Prefer Associates degree in Technical discipline. Ability to work shift work as required.
Detailed Description of Activities
TGCM Site Services Technician Level I will maintain a safe work environment.
TGCM Site Services Technician Level I will complete all safety training in accordance with the schedule.
TGCM Site Services Technician Level I is required to safely handle chemical and gas containers in accordance with work instructions.
TGCM Site Services Technician Level I is responsible for completing the following duties, as required by the scope of the contract in place with the customer:
All work to be performed in a safe manner, following all workplace safety protocols and requirements
Operation of chemical and gas distribution systems
HPM and inert cylinder changes (including tonners, packs, tube trailers and other bulk containers as required)
Chemical container changes (including drums, totes and other bulk containers as required)
Rounds and readings, as required
Inventory of chemicals and gases, as required
Fab deliveries, as required
Alarm response on equipment operated and maintained by Matheson
Gas and chemical system preventive maintenance and repair, as required
Purification system operation and maintenance, as required
Unloading of trucks using PIT (powered industrial truck) and manual equipment such as carts and pallet jacks
Write Safe Work Permits for contractors, as needed
Emergency Response Team member, as required
Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste, as required
Escalation of issues (shutdowns, safety concerns, customer requests, etc.) to the appropriate person(s), as required
Participation in audits, as required
Complete training to adhere to customer requirements, if required Housekeeping, keeping Matheson areas clutter-free and clean Other duties as assigned

Role Overview
Our consultants are our direct link to our customers. They partner with our customers to implement PDI systems in their businesses. Our professional services team is responsible for helping each customer realize the ROI on our products through streamlined, best-practice business processes. Our product suite offers a vast array of capabilities, and the professional services team is there to help the customers put those capabilities into action.
Responsibilities
* Understand the technical and functional aspects of PDI POS product range.
* Stay up to date with in-depth knowledge of PDI POS and related industry products and technology.
* Contribute to the documentation of user guides, training materials, deployment/installation guides, troubleshooting guides, proposals, and statement of works.
* Provide functional and/or technicalsupport to project team and support team. Resolve issues relevant to project deliverable(s) within their area of expertise.
* Develop and maintain product knowledge, industry knowledge, and business and professional skills by participating in on the role training, classroom training and/or documentation. Share information required for the team to be successful.
* Connect or "map" business requirements to existing functionality; to be able to suggest a solution approach that may be different in some ways from the customers current processes but is already implemented in our products; or define the most efficient means to bridge a gap between the customers' requirements and our existing functionality.
* Conduct site visits, customer discussions and interviews. Run customer workshops in conjunction with project and development team.
* Deliver clearly documented business and functional requirements for the solution, that have been signed off by the customer and stakeholders, in standard templates to enable project team to begin development. Provide clarification as needed.
* To ensure the solution developed accurately meets customers' needs, continue to clarify business requirements during the life if the project, liaising between customer, project and development team. Document and manage clarification requests and elicit replies from customers throughout the project lifecycle.
* Test the product(s), service(s) or installation package(s) towards the end of the project/program (user acceptance testing), using and evaluating it for accuracy and usability, providing feedback to the project team.
* Standby support for non-coding issues during UAT and Pilot. Being the connector between the customer and the Product team. Resolving any non-coding related issues where possible, and refining/prioritizing tickets to the Product team.
* First point of call for issues resolution during project design and implementation.
* Specification of customer solutions, including change requests and scope of work.
* Specification of interfaces with other third party systems - eg ERP systems such as SAP, Navision etc
* Ensuring and being accountable for the technical integrity of the design in accordance with the client's requirements.
* Responsible for providing feedback to Product teams regarding products including gaps, functionality, and market/customer demands.
* Summarize customer and system information, including troubleshooting information, to assist in the transit to support process.

* Working proficiency of SQL, Searching and reporting on DB entries and writing/running scripts.
* Must be bilingual in English and Spanish to support Spanish-speaking customers

Responsibilities:
Support resolution of issues escalated from Tier 1 support staff, working directly with users on timely resolution of issues
Support and document the initiation, execution, and closing activities for a program/project
Ensure performance metrics are met or exceeded
Develop and maintain program support artifacts throughout the lifecycle of the initiative
Ensure constant and proactive communication with customers, team members, and subcontractors to actively mitigate any issues or concerns
Simulates and recreates user issues to resolve operational difficulties
Recommends system modifications, if required, to reduce user problems
Promote and encourage a “one-team” attitude at all levels internally and externally
Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations
Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and complete project assignments
Requirements
Experience with Microsoft Products including Windows Desktop, Server and Microsoft 365
Experience with Active Directory
Experience with virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper V, Citrix, RDS
Experience with network troubleshooting/configuration, including advanced skill in configuration of managed switches and firewalls
Excellent time management skills.

Minimum 3-year hands on experience with software and hardware troubleshooting ex: firewalls, switches, servers, wireless, desktops, laptops, email technologies, mobile devices.
Network+, Security+, CCNA, MCP, MCSA,Azure, Microsoft 365, and Dynamics 365 preferred.
