This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket.
You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.
Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.
You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.
You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls.
You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service.
Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning. You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.

As a Customer Service Technician, you will be performing installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of high-speed internet, video and voice networks including associated wiring and equipment. Typical Day
Working with office and factory workers setting up computers, trouble shooting, setting up software and setting up new users. Will not be sitting at a desk but will move to wherever the need is. If the need arises, may be required to work off shift hours (on a call in basis)
Education Requirement
Highschool or GED minimum. IT related degree desired. In lieu of degree, would prefer some sort of certification.
Technical Skills Required
3 years experience required.
Microsoft Office required.
AutoCAD desired.
Familiarity with Mach 1 desired.

Requirements
Education\/Experience:
Computer\-related or Engineering\-related four year College or University Degree (or equivalent) desired.
Three years relevant experience required. Progressively responsible IT job\-related experiences.
Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of the latest technology in programming languages, computing hardware and software and current development processes and tools.
Ability to work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components or applications.
