The primary function is working with Special Access Program (SAPs) and other classified networks supporting SMC Directorates and/or AFSPC Operational Units. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Install, maintain, audit and support a secure MS Windows network environment and limited web/data application service.

Minimum Qualifications:

Job DescriptionENTRY-LEVEL IT / DIGITAL ARCHIVE TECHNICIAN
Part-time or Contract | On-site | West Hollywood / on site at our recording studios
We are looking for a smart, organized, tech-comfortable Entry-Level IT / Digital Data Technician to help consolidate, migrate, and streamline multiple large media libraries (music, photos, documents) across several drive systems. This is a hands-on role involving data transfers, RAID/drive management, file organization, and backup/archival work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Transfer and consolidate media across multiple drive types including miscellaneous cables, external drives & Thunderblade units
Migrate and integrate existing Drobo RAID arrays into new storage systems
Install 8 x 16TB drives into a new Drobo unit for the recording studio
Deduplicate all media: ensuring only one master copy of each file/asset exists across all drives
Create a unified backup system after deduplication & cleanup
Organize and rebuild Jeds iTunes / Apple Music library
Reorganize and streamline the photo & digital asset library (multiple formats, libraries, locations)
Maintain highest-quality versions of all files while eliminating redundancy
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
Comfortable handling large digital media libraries
Knowledge of RAID systems (Drobo preferred) or willingness to learn
Familiarity with Thunderblade drives, mac OS media libraries, file systems
Detail-oriented, patient, organized able to work systematically
A problem-solver who enjoys cleanup, structure, and data order
No advanced experience required trainable fast-learner welcome
