Your Role:
* Design structural systems under the guidance of experienced engineers, including calculations, layouts, sizing, and specifications.
* Conduct site visits to evaluate existing structural systems and inspect ongoing/completed work.
* Develop Structural Construction Documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD
* Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and design-related inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Engineering focus.
* Master's Degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
* Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification required with a desire to pursue PE licensure in the near future.
* 1+ years of relevant engineering experience, including internships or co-op positions.
* Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM with working knowledge of MS Office.
* Knowledgeable in design standards such as ASCE 7, AISC 360, and ACI 318
* Knowledgeable in the design of structural steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Candidates for the Industrial Process Water/Wastewater Leader role should have significant experience with industrial water/wastewater (W/WW) treatment systems and be capable of leading teams of engineers and designers on detailed design and owner's engineer projects. In this role you will work to understand your client's needs, develop creative solutions, support proposal development, lead the technical team, and lead the engineering design of complex industrial process W/WW systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with water systems used for production processes such as open- and closed-loop cooling water systems, water treatment systems (i.e. reverse osmosis systems, demineralized water storage), chemical feed systems, and other similar industrial W/WW systems. Responsibilities include:
* Conduct site visits to gather relevant technical information, support construction and commissioning, and project closeout.
* Participate in strategic planning and the development of annual and long-term goals to support program and client development, community and industry participation, project pursuits, and talent acquisition and development.
* Lead the technical portions of proposal development including scope, schedule, and fee.
* Performing or overseeing process design sizing and hydraulic calculations including mass balances, water treatment system conceptual designs, and calculations to determine required equipment and tank sizes and capacities.
* Develop design criteria, equipment and procurement specifications, studies, bid evaluations, and reports.
* Lead the development of process flow diagrams, P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, piping arrangement drawings and installation details.
* Review and evaluate equipment vendor and installation contractor proposals and submittals.
* Develop and execute QA/QC plans
* Lead technical teams including engineers, EITs, designers, and drafters.
* Work directly with project managers and clients to ensure that projects meet or exceed client expectations.

Position Summary:
As a Field Technician for Tetra Tech, you will be responsible for working on a variety of environmental projects related to environmental protection and remediation, primarily related to solid waste (landfills). The job duties involve collection of complete and usable data for construction activities at our client facilities. Particular responsibilities may vary by project; however, they essentially include:

- Visits job sites regularly as required for training, job audits, meetings, etc.

Primary Responsibilities
The primary duties of this position include all aspects of project management, project pursuits, marketing, and client relationship management. Work primarily focused on technical and environmental projects which include vertical facilities, land development, site grading, local land use permitting, federal and state permitting, storm water design, environmental and hydrogeologic studies, feasibility studies, capital planning, operations planning, and other civil/site requirements. Other general environmental experience with planning and permitting/regulatory compliance. Municipal solid waste (MSW), coal combustion residual (CCR), along with other waste management experience a plus.
* Planning, permitting, and construction administration of civil/site and environmental projects (landfills, vertical facilities, brownfields, remediation).
* Experienced with and/or knowledgeable of storm water controls, groundwater monitoring and remediation networks, leachate management systems, landfill gas collection and control systems, and site layout/infrastructure elements (utilities, roads, support buildings, soil borrow areas, etc.).
* Function as a lead project hydrogeologist/geologist, and project manager on small to large projects, and is expected to demonstrate a history of progressive experience effectively leading similar scale projects.
