**Position Summary:**
As an EHS Specialist, your primary focus will be on protecting our associates, the environment, and our facility from harm. You will establish systems and provide leadership for the identification and monitoring of environmental hazards and workplace safety risks through the analysis of environmental activities, work processes, materials, waste, equipment, and the work habits of employees. You will be responsible for identifying potential or actual areas of non-compliance through audits or inspections and ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive action is taken. Additionally, you will facilitate the integration of our EHS standards and develop, implement, and improve written EHS programs based on OSHA and EPA regulations, Thermo Fisher Scientific corporate standards, and best management practices.

**Key Responsibilities:**
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring a safe working environment for the R&D labs and office colleagues by implementing OSHA, EPA, Corporate, and site safety policies and requirements.
Completing environmental reporting, creating and maintaining waste profiles, and driving compliance activities as required under air, water, and waste permits.
Completing job safety and ergonomic analysis, making recommendations, and working with management to implement changes when necessary.
Assisting lab users with concerns or designs to ensure safe and environmentally compliant operations, and facilities teams with job scoping and planning.
Conducting site inspections for environmental and safety compliance. Assisting in safety committees and awareness programs.
Developing and delivering training programs. Advising on hazard communication and SDS programs.
Supporting hazard identification and equipment commissioning during Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs), lab risk assessments, and lab safety audits.
Coordinating emergency preparedness drills and collaborating with the site's Emergency Response Team (ERT) to develop appropriate responses. Actively participating in the ERT as EHS representative.
**Qualifications:**
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental, Safety, etc. with training in core Environmental, Health and Safety subject area is also acceptable.
**Experience:**
5+ years of experience in safety or environmental field in a lab or manufacturing environment, preferred. 1+ yrs of experience in local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulatory compliance, preferred. Experience with physical, chemical, and viral laboratory environments as well as pilot-scale equipment, preferred.

**Compensation and Benefits**
The salary range estimated for this position based in Minnesota is $75,800.00-$113,675.00.

Position Summary:
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in providing exceptional service and support for our analytical instrumentation. In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of service-related functions, including the repair, maintenance, and performance verification of assigned products, including demo equipment and instruments returned from customers.
JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Provide daily repair and maintenance support for assigned products, including installations.
Conduct in-house bench repairs and onsite customer repairs as needed while primarily handling field service calls with limited supervision.
Travel within the local region (including day and overnight trips) to support customer needs.
Offer technical support via phone to customers and field personnel regarding repairs, maintenance and installations.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
At least four years of experience in repairing analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, GC, LCMS, AA, or similar instruments.
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of these technologies.
Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
Willingness to travel

Compensation & Benefits:
This full-time, non-exempt position comes with a comprehensive benefits package. In your first year, you will receive 10 paid vacation days, 8 paid personal days, 8 paid scheduled holidays and 3 paid floating holidays (Residents of California and Puerto Rico will receive state-mandated sick leave instead of personal days). After one year of employment, you will also be eligible for a generous short-term disability program with the company covering 100% of monthly premiums.
The starting salary range for this role is $75,000 to $77,000 annually, paid semi-monthly. As a non-exempt position, you will be eligible for overtime and double time pay, as outlined in our employee handbook. Additional variable compensation includes an incentive plan (10% of base salary) based on company and service performance, paid semi-annually in April and October. A year-end discretionary bonus may also be awarded based on overall company performance.
This position includes a company car with a fuel card (with a $55 per pay deduction for personal use), company laptop, and a company-paid cell phone, which remains company property but can be used for personal purposes.

**Job Summary**
We are hiring a Digital Software Engineer our DuPont Water Solutions Technology team. In this role you will lead the delivery of high-impact digital programs through launch, partnering with stakeholders to ensure products and solutions meet quality standards and are delivered on time. You will continue to support these digital programs post-launch to ensure value delivery. **Primary Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Lead the delivery of high-impact digital programs from launch, ensuring products and solutions meet quality standards and are delivered on time

**Education & Experience**
**Required:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
+ strong background in modeling complex systems such as complex flow fields, chemical processing or water treatment plants
+ 7+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on **Python** .
+ Proven ability to develop **complex mathematical models** using libraries such as **NumPy** , **SciPy** , and related scientific computing tools.
+ Solid understanding of **software development lifecycle** , including **raising and reviewing Pull Requests (PRs)** , **code reviews** , and working with **Azure DevOps** for CI/CD pipelines.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to distill complex technical challenges into actionable solutions.
+ Understanding of **Agile/SCRUM methodology** and collaborative development practices.
+ Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with engineering and product teams.
**Preferred:**
+ Familiarity with **water chemistry principles** and ability to apply them in modeling and simulation of **UF (Ultrafiltration), IX (Ion Exchange), and RO (Reverse Osmosis)** technologies.
+ Experience in **modeling and simulation of water treatment systems** and translating engineering concepts into computational models.
+ Exposure to **AI/ML concepts** and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow)
+ Understanding of Python Fast API framework to engage with REST APIs

Our compensation philosophy is simple: We pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. The total target comp range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.

Position Summary:
As an EHS Specialist, your primary focus will be on protecting our associates, the environment, and our facility from harm. You will establish systems and provide leadership for the identification and monitoring of environmental hazards and workplace safety risks through the analysis of environmental activities, work processes, materials, waste, equipment, and the work habits of employees. You will be responsible for identifying potential or actual areas of non-compliance through audits or inspections and ensuring appropriate corrective and preventive action is taken. Additionally, you will facilitate the integration of our EHS standards and develop, implement, and improve written EHS programs based on OSHA and EPA regulations, Thermo Fisher Scientific corporate standards, and best management practices.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring a safe working environment for the R&D labs and office colleagues by implementing OSHA, EPA, Corporate, and site safety policies and requirements.
Completing environmental reporting, creating and maintaining waste profiles, and driving compliance activities as required under air, water, and waste permits.
Completing job safety and ergonomic analysis, making recommendations, and working with management to implement changes when necessary.
Assisting lab users with concerns or designs to ensure safe and environmentally compliant operations, and facilities teams with job scoping and planning.
Conducting site inspections for environmental and safety compliance. Assisting in safety committees and awareness programs.
Developing and delivering training programs. Advising on hazard communication and SDS programs.
Supporting hazard identification and equipment commissioning during Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs), lab risk assessments, and lab safety audits.
Coordinating emergency preparedness drills and collaborating with the site's Emergency Response Team (ERT) to develop appropriate responses. Actively participating in the ERT as EHS representative.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental, Safety, etc. with training in core Environmental, Health and Safety subject area is also acceptable.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in safety or environmental field in a lab or manufacturing environment, preferred. 1+ yrs of experience in local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulatory compliance, preferred. Experience with physical, chemical, and viral laboratory environments as well as pilot-scale equipment, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Good technical and project management skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and daily responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Minnesota is $75,800.00-$113,675.00.
