Role Overview:
The Refrigeration Maintenance Mechanic will ensure the safe and efficient operation, perform preventative maintenance tasks, conduct inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs of the manufacturing plant's refrigeration system, boiler system, air compressors, and hot water system.
In this position you will:
Assure that all safety precautions and health hazards with ammonia are followed per Tyson requirements.
Ensure compliance with state, federal and local agencies, including but not limited to OSHA and the EPA.
Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot and repair the following:
HOWDEN, SULLAIR, & MYCOM Ammonia Compressors, condensers, valve stations.
Heat exchangers, pump packages, liquid ammonia pumps
Air units, refrigeration PLC and all control components.
Boilers
Air Compressors
Hot Water System
Maintain these components in the best operating condition to provide adequate temperatures required by Food Industry Standards.
Participate as an Emergency Response Team Member.

Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Associate Position:
The purpose of this position is to develop and train individuals that have recently graduated from college to prepare them to take on roles of increased complexity across the Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory (FSQR) job family at various locations across Cargill. As part of the FSQR Associate Program, Associates will go through an extensive on the job training program that enables them to become familiar with the workflow of the business operations, and to develop knowledge of processing production, including good manufacturing practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), food safety, quality, process control and regulatory compliance. As an FSQR Associate, you will gain an understanding of processing production with primary emphasis on monitoring the processing activities of the various departments within the facility. Associates will be trained in a number of areas to learn skills and gain knowledge necessary to succeed in a Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory leadership role. By starting your career as an FSQR Associate, you will be exposed to all facets of business operations through an in-depth general orientation. Your Work:
* Daily assessment of process quality parameters and food safety and quality systems, including raw materials, calibration, maintenance, procedures, food safety, training, auditing, and oversight of analytical testing performed in operations control rooms.

* Coordinate and monitor FSQR audits/reviews of operational systems to include the following: FSQR/Microbiology Technician, as needed, duties to include operation/calibration of equipment, aseptic technique when sampling and completing microbiological testing, information management (SPC, Computer Data Entry into spreadsheets/databases). Candidates will cross train in both FSQR and Micro functions. Must know technician duties well enough to assist in training needs and plant training programs for new FSQR /Micro employees to assure that employees performing tasks are capable and the requirements are being met.
* Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned (i.e. Process improvement projects, development and modification of QA procedures and documents, recruiting and interviewing of new employees and assisting other locations with process start-ups and projects.

* Our FSQR roles are located in an industrial/processing plant environment. The plant environment is team-based, fast-paced, and hands-on. Cattle Procurement Associate Position:
Associates will be trained in a number of areas to learn skills and gain knowledge vital to succeed in a procurement leadership role. After training, the associate will be placed in a territory that will be theirs to lead. In this territory they will purchase grain fed cattle to be sent to one of Cargill's harvest facilities. The Cattle Procurement Associate role enables the individual to become familiar with the workflow of the operations, and to develop knowledge of meat processing production, including food safety and overall production management.
As an Associate, you will understand meat processing production, including process flow, yields, variances, USDA regulations and requirements, accounting, and information technologies. Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Process Development Engineer will support a core technology component area for the Food business as well as customers. In this role, you will drive and support the research group in a given implementation of business defined technology needs by working alongside food scientists to help develop processes, continuously improving efficiencies in standard work for the prepared food team. This position serves as a leader in process development, process improvement and piloting efforts and as a resource in one or more broad core technology components. You will develop, lead and execute research projects that are complex in nature and may require multidisciplinary approaches.
Key Accountabilities
* Provide subject matter expertise to project teams and functions by offering technical guidance and scientific insight for new process development and process improvements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional internal partners to build and grow our businesses.
* Interact with consumers and customers to develop meaningful insights and translate them into concepts, prototypes, and commercial offerings.
* Ensure projects proceed according to plan and results are documented and communicated.
* Lead new product or high-performance innovation efforts.
* Identify and lead evaluations of external process or manufacturing technologies or facilities.
* Identify and develop new process or product opportunities that create distinct value and enable business growth.
* Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to a subordinate group.
* Support and comply with corporate and local safety and food or product safety policies and procedures.
* Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
* Experience in process technologies and engineering principles relevant to process development and scale-up
* Minimum of 4 years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Engineering degree and/or Master's degree
* Protein development experience
* Ability to adapt and learn in a changing environment
* Experience in developing, leading, and participating in multidisciplinary teams
* Minimum 5 years of experience in new food process development
* Minimum 5 years of experience in process improvement or optimization efforts
Compensation Data
The expected salary for this position is approximately $115,000 to $140,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal.
Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
