Job Responsibilities:
Review project plans and specifications to determine materials, schedule, budget parameters, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project
Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties, scope of authority and provide technical advice/trouble-shooting
Monitor submittals/track job materials/quotes
Connecting and interacting with General Contractors
Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Construction Management Degree or Two (2) years' experience as a Project Coordinator or AssistantProjectManager/Engineer for a construction/service company, sub-contractor, or property management firm preferred
Candidates will need to have a high attention to detail and enjoy a fast-paced work environment that is very deadline focused
Mechanically minded or inclined
Strong mathematical ability; must verify bids for accuracy
Proficient in Excel, Word, Access and Outlook
Excellent communication, customer relations, and problem-solving skills

The Telecom ProjectManager is responsible for acting as the single point of contact and management for multiple client orders. Client responsibilities include on-going client interaction, timeline and critical task management, coordination across multiple groups and resources and resolving order related issues.
There will be significant interfacing with sales agents and other staff members. The ideal candidate will possess excellent critical thinking skills, communicate well with all levels of personnel and be highly organized.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Assures compliance by becoming intimately familiar with the assigned project plans and specifications. Reviews shop drawing and submittals.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 1+ year of experience with a commercial general contractor, or comparable internship experience, preferred.
* Good written and oral communication skills. Expresses self clearly and effectively when talking with individuals and groups. Demonstrates poise and mastery of language. Expresses ideas clearly in writing. Uses proper organization and grammar.
* Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
