Job Summary
The Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services (MHSADS) is currently seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of CaseManager for the Recovery Court Program with Loudoun County.
This full-time position is a member of the CaseManagement Program and will provide targeted casemanagement services to adults participating in the Recovery Court program who are on supervised probation and meet classification for substance use dependence. Targeted CaseManagement is an intensive, community-based service occurring within the individual's natural settings including their home.
The ideal candidate must have knowledge, experience, and skills in:

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field; three (3) years related professional experience in the provision of mental health, substance use, and/or casemanagement services.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree
Experience and/or background in American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), Illness Management and Recovery (IMR), and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT).
Bilingual in both Spanish and English highly desirable.

Job Summary
Loudoun County Department of Family Services is seeking a detail oriented and highly organized CPS Aide who will, under the general direction of the designated supervisor, partner with investigators, casemanagers and specialists within the Prevention and Protective division to enhance casemanagement services to clients and families.
The work of a Case Aide is multifaceted, as outlined in the core responsibilities:
Provides administrative support to DFS Unit or program.
Assists in the implementation of service plans developed by social worker; transports children/families to counseling, appointments, or community resources and provides childcare during meetings with families.
Demonstrates compliance with County, Department, and Division policies and procedures, and federal/state laws and regulations, as applicable to position.
Responds to requests from specialists to assist with services to clients or families.
Prepares written statements, case documentation, and court documents.
Collaborates with specialists in the development of client case records, management plans, court preparation documents, and educational material.
Provides administrative support for clients which includes transportation, child supervision, and supervised visitation and documentation.
Assists specialists with purchasing items to assist clients.
Assists law enforcement in criminal investigations and sensitive child forensic interviews.
Coordinates, schedules, and facilitates casemanagement meetings with clients, investigators, specialists, and other staff.
Conducts extensive client background research under short time constraints to ensure accurate and timely completion of casemanagement initiatives.
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
Hiring salary commensurate with experience.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma; two (2) years of directly related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualification (s):
Bilingual in Spanish and English

Under general direction of the supervisor of the Placement and Resource Team, this position's duties and responsibilities include:
Matches children with appropriate foster homes, ensuring information accuracy and completeness, and coordinates with CPS and foster care staff.
Assesses the condition and needs of children and communicates with foster parents and agencies to arrange placements.
Manages placement resources, maintains knowledge of foster homes and agencies, and coordinates potential placement options.
Maintains a detailed database of referrals, children demographics, and tracks referral dispositions.
Prepares and maintains reports on referral activities, case assignments, and characteristics of children entering foster care.
Enters and updates information on foster homes in the OASIS system and manages related paperwork.
Provides crisis intervention, training, and mentorship to social services specialists, and assists with administrative functions.
Participates in team decision-making meetings, evaluation of program services, and planning of appreciation events for foster parents.
Participates in an on-call after-hours rotation that includes evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday hours.
Performs other duties as assigned to ensure child safety and improve outcomes for families.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree, plus three years of professional social work experience. A master's degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check, driving record check, and a Child Protective Services Registry check to the satisfaction of the employer.

Job Summary
The CPS Evening Shift I&A Specialist will be responsible for responding to emergency situations and providing crisis intervention, as well as investigating serious reports of abuse or neglect-including sexual abuse, human trafficking, and out-of-family incidents. The role involves conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families by interviewing children, parents, guardians, and collateral contacts. Using a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, the candidate will evaluate risk and safety, develop safety and service plans, and ensure the well-being of children while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local policies, procedures, and regulations, including documentation standards for completeness and timeliness.
This position requires agility and resilience, as it involves urgent, high-stakes decision-making to ensure child safety. The ideal candidate will help foster a supportive, team-oriented environment and demonstrate the ability to motivate and promote collaboration among colleagues. The work is conducted in a progressive, change-sensitive setting that demands adaptability to shifting priorities, goals, and community needs.
This position works with our Afternoon/Evening team with core work hours being Monday-Friday, 12:30pm to 9:00 p.m., including rotating on-call shifts to receive and validate referrals from 5:00 pm-8:30 am or respond to emergency family situations, as required.

Exciting opportunity to join multi-disciplinary team at the state-of-the-art Wellness Circle Crisis Stabilization Unit, a 16-bed, short-term residential crisis stabilization unit that serves individuals with mental illness and co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities who are in psychiatric crisis. Services include crisis intervention, individual, group and family counseling, casemanagement, medication management, social and medical detoxification and linking individuals to ongoing mental health, substance use or co-occurring services. Monitors symptoms and behavior of clients and provides crisis intervention/crisis stabilization services under clinical supervision. This position is primarily responsible for 10-hour, awake overnight shift coverage, including weekends and holidays. As needed, other shifts may be required in order to provide 24-hour shift coverage.

Employment Standards
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, sociology, nursing, public health or a related field;
OR a bachelor's degree and a valid Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) certification.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:
First Aid and CPR certification, within 90 days of appointment and maintained throughout CSB employment;
MANDT Certifications within six (6) months of appointment and annually thereafter;
Valid Motor Vehicle Driver's license with fewer than six demerit points (or the equivalent in another State) maintained throughout employment with CSB;
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) within 6 months of appointment.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check, a Child Protective Services Registry check, a driving record check, and sanction screening to the satisfaction of the employer. A TB screening upon hire and annually thereafter.
This position is emergency/essential services personnel. (Required to report for duty during inclement weather and/or other emergencies.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or nursing.
2+ years of post-degree experience working with adults who suffer from serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders in an intensive treatment group home, hospital emergency department or psychiatric unit, community-based behavioral emergency services, and/or crisis stabilization setting.
Certified by the Virginia Board of Counseling as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to transport clients in agency vehicle(s), observe/monitor/document client behavior, perform CPR/First Aid, climb stairs, lift up to 20 lbs, participate in recreational activities, prepare meals, work up to 12.5-hour shifts to include awake overnights. Ability to review/write clinical notes in records and use keyboard driven computer. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
