This position will be responsible for screening youth (and their families) who are at-risk of becoming juvenile justice involved. After screening, this position will provide youth and their families with linkage to needed community resources and/or crisis management services, and also case oversight during the service linkage.Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Criminal Justice, Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field is required, along with related training and/or four (4) years of experience working with at-risk youth. Overview
Under general direction, is responsible for professional correctional counseling work of average difficulty and related work as required. * Calculates sentencing information to determine accuracy of an offender s sentence computation.
* Verifies that offender sentencing complies with judgment order.
