We are seeking an experienced licensed Mental Health Therapist (LISW, LPCC, LPC, LSW) to provide in-person counseling services to children and adolescents (ages 018). Services will be delivered in a school setting and/or at our outpatient office. This is a contract position ideal for a clinician who is confident working independently and passionate about pediatric mental health.
Please note: We are only accepting fully licensed professionals (LISW or LPCC). Supervision toward independent licensure is not provided for this role.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments for youth
Provide evidence-based, developmentally appropriate therapy (CBT, DBT, Play Therapy, etc.)
Collaborate with families, schools, and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated care
Conduct risk assessments and crisis interventions as needed
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EMR (SimplePractice preferred)
Participate in team communication and case coordination as appropriate
Technical Expertise:
Pediatric and school-based clinical experience preferred
Proficient in using EMR systems (SimplePractice a plus)
Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Familiarity with trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or related behavioral health field
Active LISW, LPCC, LPC, LSW license in the state of Ohio (Required)
Minimum 2 years of experience working with children, teens, and families preferred
Strong ability to work independently in both clinical and school settings
