This is an exciting opportunity to part of the expanding crisis services at the DuPage County Health Department!
Located in our new Crisis Recovery Center on the DuPage County Campus in Wheaton, Crisis Services provides 24/7 crisis mental health services to county residents experiencing psychiatric crises or needing support for mental illness symptoms. In this on-call position, you will be required to work at least three (3) shifts per month, having evening and weekend availability, working no more than 1000 hours per year. We offer a $2.00 per hour shift differential for our second shift and $2.50 for our overnight shift.
Responsibilities
Supports maintenance of a safe, therapeutic environment for clients seeking services through Crisis Recovery Center programs on the Substance Use Stabilization Unit, Adult Mental Health Unit, and Youth Mental Health Unit, as well as in Crisis Residential.
Facilitates client safety and quality care in Crisis Residential and Crisis Recovery Center Programs, through completion of client rounding and belongings checks
Assists with client medication observation in Crisis programming as needed
Performs tasks related to maintaining environmental standards in crisis programming
Assist in de-escalation of clients experiencing a mental health crisis through engagement with client and coordination with team members providing clinical intervention.
Completion of required documentation within established timeframes, through use of an Electronic Client Record
Participates in team meetings to assess clients' progress.
Participates in emergency response activities as assigned.
Requirements
A qualified candidate must possess a valid State of Illinois Driver's license and have a good driving record. New employees are required to attend paid on-site, HR New Hire Orientation at our Central Public Health Center in Wheaton, during our day shift generally, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, for one week. Must have flexibility to work on the day shift for two weeks of additional training on site at the CRC.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand, walk, use hands to push and pull cleaning equipment, reach with hands and/or arms, climb ladders, crouch or stoop, and lift or move up to 10 pounds.

About the Role
The Service Engineer position is the primary point of contact responsible for training, installation and maintenance of all HSG tech machinery in our Chicago showcase space and equipment purchased by HSG Tech customers in the US region. Reporting directly to the Service Manager in the US, this position will manage technical issues, maintain customer satisfaction, provide monthly maintenance support, promote value add-on services and provide training support. This eight-week program provides a unique opportunity for interns to engage in meaningful research projects that contribute to large-scale international computer-adaptive tests (CAT). Interns will gain hands-on experience with operational workflows while developing a deep understanding of the practical considerations necessary when bridging research with impactful outcomes.
Under the guidance of our staff, each intern will select a research topic that aligns with their interests and the organization's needs. As part of their collaboration, interns will be responsible for a presentation to the examinations team, along with the development of a conference submission proposal and/or a research paper for publication.

Additionally, they will be tasked with developing a research project. We are particularly interested in detecting parameter drift for PCM model parameters, as well as other psychometric procedures to evaluate the operational polytomous items. Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
· Extensive travel required. (Local, National, International)
· Promotes and adheres to the ATS safety culture.
· Engages in various work environments and industries to lead reliability centered maintenance efforts.
· Mentors, coaches, and provides reliability best practices for applications in customer facilities, by customer personnel
· Identifies top potential issues leading to lost production and preventable maintenance spending. Communicates findings with leadership.
· Provides solutions to root cause deficiencies and demonstrates economic benefits to their correction.
· Actively drives the implementation of equipment improvement projects.
· Identifies and implements current and new processes / technologies to increase equipment performance and uptime
· Champions systems and best practice procedures towards a proactive manufacturing culture.
· Analyzes equipment performance, failure data, and corrective maintenance history to develop and deploy engineering solutions, improved maintenance strategies, preventative maintenance optimization, and other reliability techniques.
· Provides technical service to operations and manufacturing personnel on equipment related troubleshooting efforts.
· Utilizes predictive, preventative, and precision maintenance technologies and strategies designed to identify or control risks prior to failure and ensure optimum maintenance execution.
· Collaborates with the maintenance team to prioritize assets and actions by determining failure probabilities and evaluating the risk of compliance, supply, strategy, and cost.
· Provides training and coaching in Root Cause and Reliability Analysis and takes ownership for ongoing corrective action tracking, implementation and follow up to ensure that all Root Cause Analysis projects are documented.
· Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and ATS policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies:
Essential KSAs:
· Bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET accredited)
· Eight or more years of reliability experience across 2 or more manufacturing sites
· Demonstrates ability to perform full array of reliability tool sets
· Strong technical understanding of electrical or mechanical components, tools, and designs
· Ability to complete a failure mode effects analysis, cause and effect diagrams, root cause failure analysis, life-cycle costing, and risk analysis
· Ability to research and apply new equipment technology / trends
· Robust problem solving, mathematical, analytical, and decision making skills
· Proficiency with computers, maintenance systems, and applications, including Microsoft Office
· Excellent verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
· Strong reporting and technical writing capability
· Ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships
Desirable KSAs:
· Desire to develop into a leadership role
· Experience with data trend analysis, vibration analysis, motor current analysis, oil analysis, lubrication and hydraulic testing, laser alignment, nondestructive testing, infrared thermography, ultrasound technology, acoustic reliability technology, Weibull analysis, and Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies
· Knowledge of various government regulations such as, Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), National Electrical Testing Association (NETA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
· CMRP certification

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

About Aviation Electronics, Electrical, and Computer Systems Technicians (AV) work with some of the most advanced aircraft systems in the world. They repair and maintain electrical and electronic systems ranging from radar and communications to navigation and weapon systems. AV Sailors may also volunteer as Naval Aircrewmen, performing in-flight duties and operating radar and weapon systems.
Responsibilities
Depending on your rating (AE or AT), you may:
Troubleshoot and repair complex aircraft systems, including digital computers, fiber optics, infrared detection, radar, and laser electronics.
Maintain electrical power generation and distribution systems.
Test and calibrate aircraft instruments and automatic flight controls.
Perform micro-miniature module repair on circuit cards.
Install modifications to aircraft electronics systems.
Operate diagnostic equipment and read electrical diagrams.
Work Environment
AV technicians serve at sea and ashore worldwide. Work may be performed in hangars, onboard aircraft carriers, in labs, or outdoors on flight lines. Youll work closely with other technicians, often with minimal supervision, in both technical and operational settings.
Training & Advancement
Class A Technical School Pensacola, FL (1826 weeks) Covers aviation theory, electrical systems, electronics theory, and technical skills. After training, Sailors are assigned to AE or AT
ratings and may serve at naval air stations, squadrons, or aboard carriers. Advanced training is available for specific aircraft and systems.
