Job Summary: Maintains acceptable store conditions according to Company standards. Engages with customers, bags and transports groceries, locates products and conducts price verifications. Performs various customer service duties while maintaining a safe and sanitary shopping environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensures groceries are bagged properly by putting like items together, limiting bag weight, preventing food cross-contamination, and ensuring customer receipt of all purchased items. Collects shopping carts and stores them in the cart corral. Keeps parking lot free of trash and debris; communicates with management any incidents, actions, or concerns occurring on store premises. Ensures front-end racks, drink coolers and cleaning supply stations are stocked, cleaned, and presentable. Promotes product sales through active customer engagement. Takes precaution when handling objects to avoid damage to products, property, etc. Follows Company guidelines by cleaning breakroom/restroom and facing product to ensure proper store conditions. Maintains friendly and customer-service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and bagging and transporting groceries into customers' vehicles. Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures. Complies with all Company policies and procedures. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to remain courteous with customers at all times. Ability to effectively communicate (in written and verbal form) with customers and partners. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible. JOB DUTIES - Include but are not limited to the following: * Direct delivery drivers to the correct unloading station * Receive and sign for deliveries * Document inspection results by completing reports and logs. * Inspect incoming parts coming from outsourced vendors. * Check deliveries against orders, invoices, and other documents to verify correctness * Coordinate with purchasing to ensure all proper purchase documents are in ERP system for receiving. * Work in ERP system to review and receive orders. * Store stock in an orderly manner in appropriate locations * Provide proper receiving documentation to accounting for weekly pay runs. * Be able to lift boxes up to 70lbs. * If there are issues with the order after receiving inspection, report problem or concerns to manager and appropriate leadership of operations department and complete rejection process. * Complete annual Inventory counts. * Conduct regular cycle counts * Establish reliability and initiative to create a higher standard of performance through meeting set deadlines, achieving goals and objectives, and pursuing efficiency. * Establish high performance standards by meeting deadlines and pursuing efficiency. * Follow and comply with all company safety policies and procedures. * All other duties as assigned by leadership. Requirements Required Skills and Qualifications * Ability to learn and correctly apply new skills * Flexible; able to adapt easily to shifting priorities and adjust to change in a fast-paced manufacturing work environment. * Able to work independently with minimal supervision. * Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and follow-through * Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills * Effectively communicates and understand instructions both verbally and written in the English language and able to train others * Reliable, dependable, and able to work overtime when required * Able to work in a team environment and take direction well * Computer literacy, proficient in the use of Microsoft office and inventory control software Education/Experience * High School Diploma or equivalent * Previous shipping and receiving experience * Experience working in an ISO environment is preferred * Forklift certification is a plus
