Hiring Construction Laborers with a valid Class A or B CDL license immediately in Anoka, MN! The Construction Laborer is responsible for the installation of CIPP for various municipal, industrial, storm and sewer line rehab and repair projects. This position must be capable of working with minimal oversite while still following instructions closely.
Starting pay is $44.00 per hour.

What You'll Do:
The Laborer will work effectively with supervisors and peers in the successful rehabilitation and repair of a variety of sewer and storm water lines.
Direct operators of construction equipment with alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to location needs.
Drive various vehicles (pickups to tractor-trailer rigs requiring a CDL) to haul crews and equipment to work sites.
Assist in initial setup and cleanup of job sites which would include lifting, carrying, and pulling items 50+lbs in weight.
Review entry and work permits; and assists in the review of pre and post installation videos.
Enter manhole/confined space to cut line for installation.
Other tasks, as assigned.
What We Need From You:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Class A or B CDL REQUIRED, Hazmat or other endorsements preferred.
2+ years' experience working in an outdoor construction environment, preferably with CIPP or water or sewer utilities.
Must be able to work in confined spaces.
Ability to work overtime, nights and weekends based on business needs.
Ability to travel overnight, locally and regionally (across state lines), as work assignments dictate. As much as 70% overnight travel is required.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation

Experience with footings, walls, forming and flatwork
Ability to plan day to day operations, as well as work with management to forecast schedules
Valid driver's license
Travel

Ability to work both independently and as a team player
Total station knowledge
Ability to shoot grades and elevations

Meyer Contracting Inc., is seeking qualified applicants for a Utility Foreman opening to join our team. Team Meyer is a Highway/Heavy contractor based out of Maple Grove, MN who performs Earthwork, Underground Utilities, Demolition, Concrete Structures and Foundations operations primarily in the greater Midwest area. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage a wide variety of Underground Utilities applications including sanitary sewer, water mains, lift stations, & storm sewer work for new construction, residential rehab, & commercial operations.
Perform daily safety audits on responsible work sites
Manage all sub-contractors on responsible work sites
Maintain all required paperwork for responsible work sites including documentation of time cards/production quantities using Heavy Job program
Candidate Profile:
Skilled in the use of personnel and equipment in an Underground Utility installation capacity
Considerable knowledge of occupational hazards and safe work practices
Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years Underground Utility project supervision experience required
Clean driving record
Ability to pass background check for access to certain restricted project sites
Must be a TEAM player - Meyer Contracting Team members are a family, not separate entities
