Duties/Responsibilities:
Participate as a member of the Partnerships & Philanthropy team to grow and retain Direct Relief's community of support among a diverse population of donors at all giving levels.
Fundraising and stewardship:
Portfolio management: Identify and manage a mass donor and prospect portfolio; in collaboration with other members of the Partnerships & Philanthropy team plan and execute segmented donor interactions and communications (e.g., thank-you letters, newsletters, programmatic updates and briefings, pitch decks, etc.) as part of an integrated mass donor marketing strategy.
Annual giving: Use an appropriate mix of written individual and mass communication, face-to-face meetings, phone/video meetings, facility tours, and group presentations to retain donors and increase donations to feed the midlevel donor pipeline.
Research and strategy: Analyze the interests of donors and prospects to develop compelling pitches, fundraising campaigns, engagement strategies, and stewardship activities.
Build community of support: Inspire and maintain donor loyalty, interest and enthusiasm through stewardship, communication, and activities designed to express recognition, appreciation, and the impact of their gifts.
Community networking:
Represent Direct Relief: Attend meetings and events, both in the community and those hosted at Direct Relief, to engage with members of the community to raise awareness and promote Direct Relief's mission.
Engage community influencers: Meet with influential community members to develop engagement opportunities with the organization.
Record keeping:
Data management: Perform necessary administrative tasks to ensure accurate constituent records in the CRM system (currently Raiser's Edge: NXT), including documentation of all activity, using the donor database system and ensure organization and accuracy of pertinent information within the Partnerships & Philanthropy team documents system.
Reporting: Produce reports of activity and results measured against established goals.
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of successful experience growing and maintaining meaningful constituent relationships; non-profit experience is strongly preferred but comparable for-profit experience may be considered; bachelor's degree preferred
Advanced ability to write clear, structured, and persuasive communications

General Summary
This position is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects ranging from $15 - $49 million in size.
Essential Job Accountabilities
* Perform accurate project revenue and cost financial forecasting to ensure corporate profitability goals are met.
* Coordinate with estimators and project controls group to establish budget.
* Lead estimating efforts on vertically integrated projects to ensure accurate and consistent bid to build process.
* Coordinate efforts with estimators, large project sponsor, and manager of construction to manage resources to meet project schedule.
* Participate in bid review and bid closing to ensure accuracy of bid and evaluate project feasibility; work with estimating team to develop bid schedule.
* Coordinate with large project sponsor, manager of construction and project team to develop comprehensive plan for project start up and successful kick-off.
* Provide environment where dynamic project communication occurs between Project Engineers, Foremen, Superintendents and Construction Manager to ensure work is accomplished in an efficient, profitable, and safe manner.
* Ensure proper job controls, i.e. quantities, costs, revenue and schedule.
* Establish and maintain working relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, corporate management, inspectors, etc., providing customer service to develop long-term partnerships with client base.
* Ensure accurate construction reports for the job allowing for continuous improvement in performance.
* Run projects at profitability levels to meet or exceed expected margins.
* Comply, understand, and support corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
Education
* BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience in heavy civil construction.
Work Experience
* Five (5) to ten (10) years progressive project experience in heavy civil environments.
* Minimum of five (5) years experience in paving, dirt, and grading in either private or public environments.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
* Knowledge of construction paving, underground, concrete and grading practices.
* Knowledge and understanding of union agreements and prevailing wage issues.
* Maintain ability to work in high production environment.
* Demonstrated decision-making skills.

**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Program Management, or related technical degree and 10 years of relevant experience in program management, systems engineering, or business management, etc
+ Experience supporting development programs for embedded systems and/or advanced materials/components
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite resources
+ An active and transferable Secret level U.S. government issued security clearance isrequiredpriorto start date. U.S. citizenship isrequired, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for asecurity clearance (a SAP level clearance will be required after onboarding to maintain program access)
**Qualifications We Prefer**
+ Effective written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
+ Program management experience in all program lifecycle phases, including development, production and sustainment; ability to engage senior level customers as well as industry partners
+ Understanding of Electronic Warfare (EW) or Radio Frequency (RF) principles, systems development, and application of applicable technologies in operations
+ Track record successfully leading Independent Research & Development (IR&D), New Business Initiatives (NBI), and/or customer funded program/projects
+ Demonstrated ability to advise and influence the cross-functional production team, functional leaders, domestic and global supply chain, and internal program leaders to secure the resources necessary execute a profitable production program

The salary range for this role is 137,000 USD - 275,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
