What you'll do:
Provide day-to-day supervision of Engineers and Technicians, including assigning and overseeing work; training, coaching and mentoring staff; managing employee issues; interviewing; hiring and firing recommendations; approving time and expense; conducting performance reviews; employee development and performance management; ensuring the customers' needs are fulfilled; ensuring compliance with Intertek's Quality Management System and all other policies and procedures.
Perform testing and evaluation on a variety of products; writing reports; reviewing written reports within qualified reviewer categories; and communicating with clients.
Provide local expertise in one or more product categories.
Provide support to sales with quoting, client meetings, etc.
Responsible for manpower requirements, projections, and utilization within assigned area.
Responsible for all housekeeping, equipment calibration, and supplies within assigned area.
Responsible for efficiency and productivity within assigned area.
Responsible for ensuring invoicing is submitted timely within assigned area; may assist with P&L for assigned area, including forecasting, managing costs, etc.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in a directly related engineering field.
4+ years directly related experience, including testing and project management experience.

Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Work Environment
This role is expected to provide support during key operational hours, with weekend availability. Because this position requires bending, kneeling, moving merchandise (up to 50 pounds, as necessary) and standing for long periods of time, there may be risk of injury resulting from failure to follow safety precautions and procedures. A limited amount of travel will be required.
Contacts
This position has continuous contact with the public at the Pet Care Center and at Pet Care Center -related events, and regular contact and exchange of information with other departments in the field, Distribution Centers, and at the Support Centers. Contact outside of PETCO may be required to coordinate merchandise returns, ordering parts, Pet Care Center repairs, coordination of vaccination clinics, Pet Care Center events, vendor meetings, etc.

Knowledge of CCC ONE estimating software is strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of automotive parts
Ability to effectively communicate with others
Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates, and work orders
Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-paced environments
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a valid drivers license
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel and pull
Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 80lbs)
Standing, sitting, and walking
Performing repetitive motions

Position Summary:
We're seeking a highly motivated Automotive Parts Manager to lead the setup and operation of our new Kia parts department. This is a unique opportunity to build a department from scratch-managing systems, inventory, personnel, and processes-while having the full support of an experienced leadership team and a trusted family-owned dealership group.
Key Responsibilities: Department Launch & Leadership:
Oversee the full setup of the parts department, including layout, equipment, inventory systems, and workflow.
Work closely with Kia and dealership leadership to ensure a compliant and efficient launch.
Operations & Inventory Management:
Manage all ordering, receiving, stocking, and tracking of Kia OEM and aftermarket parts.
Maintain balanced inventory levels, reduce obsolescence, and ensure parts availability for the service department and retail customers.
Use Dealertrack for accurate inventory control and reporting.
Team Development:
Recruit, train, and manage a skilled and customer-focused parts team.
Foster a productive and positive team environment with clear goals and expectations.
Customer & Internal Support:
Deliver excellent customer service to retail clients, service advisors, technicians, and wholesale accounts.
Grow wholesale parts business and develop B2B relationships.
Compliance & Performance:
Ensure compliance with OEM standards, safety procedures, and dealership policies.
Track and report KPIs including fill rates, inventory turnover, and profitability.
Qualifications:
3+ years of automotive parts experience, with prior management or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency with Dealertrack or similar DMS platforms.
Strong knowledge of automotive parts operations and inventory practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to efficiency.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

The Town of Seabrook is accepting applications for five (5) Seasonal Laborer positions for the Public Works Department.
REQUIRED EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
Eighteen years of age or older
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods under unfavorable or extreme weather conditions
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Good physical condition, strength, and agility, and ability to pass a physical examination with town physician and pre-employment drug & alcohol screen, criminal background and motor vehicle check
Must possess a valid New Hampshire driver's license
SALARY: $16.828 per hour
