What will you be doing?
Provide product demonstration and education to Healthcare Professionals in a variety of offices and facilities within a defined geographic territory. To provide disease state related educational support to identified Healthcare Professionals and office staff as agreed with the Client Account Manager.
To present educational programs to Healthcare Professionals in accordance with the needs of each office.
To only use approved materials provided by Inizio Engage or by the client, without changing, copying or distributing the materials.
To attend and complete all training courses and related competency assessments that Inizio Engage requires, to an appropriate standard and within a specified timeframe
Develop and strengthen relationships with key customers.
To facilitate the development and provision of services across multiple healthcare sectors, as determined by the Client Account Manager, Field.
To constantly consider new and innovative approaches that potentially develop new partnership opportunities.
Complete all required administrative responsibilities in a timely manner. Some of these could include but are not limited to; daily computer updates, weekly summary of activity reports, emails and monthly expense reports.
Maintain professional registration and/or licensing as required by applicable state laws.
Attend local and national meetings and/or conferences, as required, to keep abreast of plans, activities and developments and to exchange knowledge and experience within the team.
Maintain all company equipment and materials in accordance with company instructions
Comply with all Ashfield Policies and Procedures, along with all Client Policies and Procedures as required.

What do you need for this position?
Neuro/psych or mental health or behavioral health experience required
Experience working in pharmaceutical industry within an HCP facing Clinical Educator role required
Registered Nurse with 3- 5 years post-educational experience

The University of California Master Food Preserver Program based in Davis, CA, extends UC research-based information about home food safety and preservation to the public. The UC Master Food Preserver Program is a public service and outreach program under UC Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (UC SAREP) within the University of California Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR), administered locally by participating UC Cooperative Extension county offices and a statewide online delivery program. This position may be headquartered in one of the following counties: Riverside, San Joaquin, Placer, Humboldt, Del Norte, Santa Cruz, San Luis Obispo, Ventura, Sonoma, Alameda, Contra Costa, or at the Hansen Research and Extension Center (REC).
The Cottage Food Operations Education Specialist will lead the development and implementation of a statewide UC Master Food Preserver (MFP) public education and volunteer certification program to provide training and technical support for cottage food operators throughout California. The Education Specialist will collaborate with statewide and county-based MFP personnel and volunteers and cottage food operators to support innovation in the development of processed food products and foster small business development and entrepreneurship. This position will provide content expertise in food preservation methods, build strong partnerships with environmental health departments, and develop resources to assist California cottage foods operators with regulatory compliance and food safety best practices. This position will work under the general supervision of the MFP Program Manager and will collaborate closely with the UC SAREP Associate Director for Sustainable Food Economies to integrate cottage foods projects into strategic planning and program development for the MFP and UC SAREP.
This position is a career appointment that is 100% fixed.
The home department is the Master Food Preservers Program. While this position normally is based in

Requirements:

As an Education Specialist, you will support students with diverse learning needs in a full inclusion setting. In collaboration with general education teachers, this role will support students through in-class (push-in) and individualized (pull-out) services to ensure equitable access to the general curriculum and the high standards of OSA and the State of California. This position is central to OSA's full-inclusion model, where students participate fully in both academic and arts classes.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with IEP team members to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using the Special Education Information System (SEIS).
Conduct initial, triennial, and informal assessments to identify student needs.
Implement and monitor students' IEP goals and accommodations.
Prepare materials and documentation for IEP meetings.
Consult and collaborate with parents, staff, and service providers to ensure appropriate delivery of special education services.
Partner with general education teachers to plan and implement instructional strategies that support students with IEPs.
Support students in both general education and specialized academic instruction settings.
Establish and articulate clear goals for student learning and success.
Maintain compliance with special education records and documentation requirements.
Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to support students' understanding of subject matter.
Utilize assessment data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the President will ensure IEM's adherence to its mission, vision, and values, while maintaining strict compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, particularly the California Education Code, which pertains to non-classroom-based charter schools. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of public education, including independent study environments featuring parent choice, fostering a positive organizational culture, and building strong relationships with all stakeholders, including charter authorizers, community leaders, and parents.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities of the President include:
Strategic Leadership & Vision
Develop and execute the IEM's strategic plan in alignment with its mission of honoring individual education choices and providing innovative public education, in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
Stay abreast of trends, emerging technologies, policy changes, and best practices within the education landscape, including independent study and homeschooling, to inform strategic decision-making and ensure IEM remains a leader in parent-choice education in California.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability across all schools within the network, with a focus on personalized learning paths.
Lead the thoughtful growth and expansion of IEM, including identifying new opportunities for independent study schools and overseeing the charter petition and renewal processes when deemed appropriate.
Academic Excellence & Student Outcomes
Ensure the implementation of a rigorous, high-quality, and equitable educational program tailored to the individualized learning needs of students in an independent study model, overseeing the Executive Director of Academics, Director of Curriculum and Guidance Services, and Director of Special Education Services.
Set ambitious academic goals for student achievement and performance, holding school leaders and Education Specialists accountable for results.
Oversee the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of IEM's instructional model, curriculum resources, and assessment strategies.
Utilize data to drive decision-making, and ensure positive academic outcomes for all students, including those with diverse needs within an independent study network.
Organizational Management & Operations
Provide executive oversight of all IEM operations, including finance, human resources, legal compliance, facilities (learning centers), technology, enrollment, and communications. This includes direct supervision of the Chief Business Official, Director of Information Technology Services, Executive Director of HR Compliance and Systems, Director of Human Resources, Director of Enrollment and Budget Services, and Director of Communications and Development Services.
Lead and develop a high-performing leadership team, fostering collaboration and accountability across all departments and school sites.
Provide strategic oversight of core information systems and process evolution, ensuring priorities align with long-term objectives, stakeholder needs, and the company's vision for growth and operational excellence.
Ensure sound fiscal management, including the development and oversight of the annual budget and required updates, compliance with federal, state and authorizing school districts required reporting, and securing adequate funding for IEM and its schools.
Oversee talent acquisition, professional development, and retention strategies for all staff, with particular attention to credentialed Education Specialists.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, regulations, and charter agreements, particularly those unique to California's independent study charter schools.
Governance & Board Relations
Serve as the primary liaison between IEM's operational team and the Board of Directors.
Collaborate with the Board Chair to develop meeting agendas and provide comprehensive reports on organizational performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Support the Board in fulfilling its legal, fiduciary, and moral responsibilities.
Assist the Board in recruiting, onboarding, and evaluating new board members.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy
Build and maintain strong relationships with charter authorizers, community leaders, parents, and other key stakeholders, emphasizing IEM's commitment to parent choice.
Represent IEM effectively in public forums, conferences, and other discussions to advocate for the organization's interests, including parent choice in education and independent study charter schools.
Develop and execute a robust communication strategy to inform and engage all stakeholders.
Foster a positive public image for IEM and its schools, highlighting the benefits of their individualized learning approach.
Requirements
To fulfill these responsibilities, the ideal President candidate will have:
Administrative Services Credential (or equivalent combination of leadership experience and education), Master's degree in Education or Business Administration or related field(s) preferred.
Senior leadership experience in education, with significant experience in charter schools.
Experience in the measurement and improvement of student success in diverse educational settings.
Deep understanding of California's charter school landscape, including regulatory frameworks, funding mechanisms, and accountability measures for independent study charters.

Summary:
This role provides specialized instruction to students in Special Day Class programs, supporting academic, social, and vocational development. The position is ideal for credentialed educators experienced in serving students with moderate to severe learning challenges. The teacher will design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborate with staff and families, and create a supportive learning environment that fosters student growth and independence.
What You'll Do:
Plan and deliver instruction aligned to IEP goals, adapting curriculum to meet individual student needs.
Counsel students individually and in groups on academic, social, vocational, and personal matters.
Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to support students in inclusive settings.
Engage with parents and professional staff regarding student progress and challenges.
Assist students in setting realistic educational and occupational goals.
Implement motivational strategies for students with short attention spans or difficulty working independently.
Participate in student admission, placement, and evaluation processes.
Support or supervise vocational and work-experience programs when applicable.
Maintain accurate special education files and comply with state and district policies.
Select and manage instructional materials, supplies, and records.
Experience You'll Need:
Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Special Education (Moderate/Severe or Extensive Support Needs).
Valid California EL Authorization or equivalent credential.
Demonstrated knowledge of teaching methods and strategies for students with learning handicaps.
Experience developing, writing, and implementing IEPs.
Strong ability to collaborate with staff, families, and community resources.
Commitment to ongoing professional study in psychology, behavior, and special education best practices.
