Knowledge of low Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, testing and balancing, operations, sheet metal duct systems and control systems including direct digital controls. Knowledge of power or conveying systems including electric dumbwaiters and materials lifts, electric traction elevators, hydraulic elevators, pneumatic tube systems, and uniform dispensing equipment. Ability to determine compliance of workmanship, materials, equipment and installed work with contract requirements and industry standards. Working knowledge and understanding of building, safety, and environmental codes. Familiarity with 3 phase inspections, CPM schedules and safety programs such as OSHA and EM-385-1; OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 preferred. Ability to exercise good interpersonal skills. Educational Requirements BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution of higher learning with at least five years of experience in the Construction Industry (in Hospital and/or Federal government Major Construction or Renovations).
