Job description The Controller will be responsible for overseeing both the financial and administrative aspects of the business, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, duties of a CPA, tax preparation, and financial planning. A successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing the administrative tasks and ensuring that all office policies and procedures are followed and that day-to-day operations run smoothly. The Controller will enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. The Controller has direct and/or indirect supervision of the Finance Department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, invoicing and credit/collections and is responsible for managing the process to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner.
