Supervises 15-20 warehouse personnel involved in the receiving/loading of various products into the plant, while ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises all shipping, receiving, and packing activities performed by plant staff. (Team leader/Fork Lift Drivers/Line Operators)
Coordinate with team leader in attainting the efficiency of the daily production schedule. Maintains a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area
Review and submit daily production report on time.
Report to management relevant activities happening during the shift.
Maintains department standards for productivity, reliability, and accuracy.
Reviews, prioritizes, and organizes all orders to be picked and/or shipping during shift.
Report equipment maintenance in breakdown situations.
Coordinates with the production control manager to manage personnel issues including but not limited to vacation approvals, time card approval, daily and weekly overtime, and training.
Performs required administrative tasks; prepares required reports and correspondence. Ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by crew.
Assists with inventory activities.
Oversees the sanitation activities performed in the warehouse.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to use Excel and Outlook (you will be required to complete testing)
Previous experience supervising no less than 15-20 team-members
Lift and/or move up to 70 pounds with assistance.
Ability to operate a sit-down forklift (No certification needed. This is not a primary responsibility and can be certified by client.

**The Job You Will Perform:**
The successful candidate will be first and foremost a Safety Leader for the Maintenance Department. He or she will set clear expectations to promote accountability throughout the crew and deliver positive results for all customers. He or she must support year-over-year reductions in unscheduled equipment downtime and drive compliance with annual Maintenance Department objectives.
+ Enable the Crew to work safely and efficiently through training, coaching and mentoring.
+ Manage daily area maintenance decisions, to include staffing, work prioritization and spending.
+ Ensure effective communication between the maintenance team and other mill teams.
+ Responsible for work execution within department and the overall effectiveness of the Notification and Work Order System.
+ Responsible for effective participation with the MWS team and fulfills position duties included in the MWS manual.
+ Creates daily/weekly schedule, helps prioritize of work, and executes the work plan. Efficiently assigns manpower and has the capability to be flexible if scheduled work plans change.
+ Plans more involved work in departmental area and is fluent in the use of SAP.
+ Manage contract work.
+ Communicate job progress and follow up on work until successful completion.
+ Lead problem solving, troubleshoot issues, and initiate the acquisition of additional resources as appropriate.
+ Communicate results with the Crew, Operations, and your manager.
+ Grow team and individual performance to include performance reviews with team members, ensuring correct staffing, training, scheduling and development for the team.

+ A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering is preferred. Applicable experience will be considered.
