Job Summary and Essential Job Duties:
The GroupLeader is accountable for the broad oversight of their department, ensuring alignment with site strategic goals and driving long-term success through people development, resource planning, and operational excellence. Unlike Team Leaders, who focus on daily execution, GroupLeaders maintain a strategic view across the entire department, looking forward 1 weeks to 1 month to anticipate resource allocation, production schedule priorities, hiring needs, and equipment purchase requests.
GroupLeaders balance technical awareness with strategic leadership, ensuring their teams meet commitments in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Financials while fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Through On the Job Training (OJT), the GroupLeader will:
Broad Departmental Oversight
Provide holistic leadership across the department, ensuring all teams are aligned with organizational goals.
Maintain visibility on the production floor to stay technically aware while focusing on strategic priorities.
Forecast and prioritize production schedules 2-4 weeks out, coordinating with Production and Manufacturing Managers.
Lead capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure departmental readiness.
Coordinate hiring needs, succession planning, and equipment purchase requests to support long-term departmental growth.
Issue Escalation & Troubleshooting
Ensure technicians escalate equipment issues or difficult-to-manufacture jobs after 1 hour of troubleshooting.
1-2 hours: GroupLeader and Team Leader troubleshoot jointly and engage support functions.
At 2 hours: Engineering and/or Maintenance must be notified and engaged.
Lead troubleshooting and firefighting activities, ensuring escalation protocols are followed and systemic issues are addressed.
Oversee resolution of equipment issues (existing, new, and development/in-house), coordinating with Maintenance, Engineering, and Team Leaders to ensure timely resolution and long-term solutions.
Leadership & Team Development
Conduct regular 1:1s with Team Leaders and Group Leads, ensuring coaching, feedback, and alignment with strategic goals.
Facilitate team meetings and leadership development sessions.
Support training execution in collaboration with Technical Production Coordinator, Engineering, and Manufacturing Manager.
Approve PTO requests and oversee performance management processes.
Partner with HR and leadership on hiring, interviewing, and succession planning.
Cross-Functional Communication & Coordination
Ensure timely communication and updates to PPC and Project Managers.
Participate in new job process approvals, ensuring Engineering accountability and Team Leader execution.
Maintain handoff documents and ensure smooth communication across shifts.
Collaborate with Engineering on SOP development and implementation.
Administrative & Continuous Improvement
Streamline emails and routine communications, targeting a 50% reduction in time spent.
Ensure meetings are efficient and outcome-driven.
Lead 5S work cell activities and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Engineering and CI stakeholders.
Partner with Production and Manufacturing Managers to align labor absorption metrics with site goals.

As the Team Leader for Bridge Inspection, you will be evaluating and documenting the conditions of bridges and various other structures. This entails creating comprehensive condition reports utilizing agency-provided software or other designated formats. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating with an Assistant Team Leader (ATL) to ensure timely completion of inspections, while also providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
Effective communication skills will be crucial as you engage with team members, clients, and subcontractors, fostering clear and concise exchanges of information throughout the inspection process. A strong commitment to delivering high-quality work that aligns with technical guidelines is essential. The ideal candidate will possess recent experience in bridge inspection, preferably with entities such as NYSDOT, TBTA, Port Authority of NY&NJ, NYSTA, or NJDOT. Furthermore, they should hold a valid NYS PE license or NJ PE license with the capacity to transfer between states.

DETAILS:
25-35 hours per week
Shift is ~10-5pm Monday through Friday + One weekend per month
On-Call availability is a must one week per month
Service Area based on company needs (travel time will not exceed 30 minutes on average)
Admin time AND Field time is paid
You will drive from house to house according to company schedule providing in-home pet care services, as requested by client
What We are Looking For:
Must own your own vehicle, have a valid driver license, and maintain auto insurance
Have leadership experience (at least 1 year)
Have prior experience working with dogs
Be coachable and able to coach others
Must have a smart phone w/unlimited data (and able to use our apps)
Must be over 18
Must be able to handle large dogs that pull on leash
Must be willing to commit for at least 8 months
Must be comfortable with open and direct communication

CNC Team Lead- 2nd shift

Responsible for verifying operator checks, helping with changeovers, tool changes. Assist operators where needed to meet customer needs. This can include running any of the equipment in the department, including Material Handling and\or Shipping.
Hourly pay: $23.75

* Capable of replacing lathe tooling and components. Confirm geometry is accurate with all lathe tools. (Monthly PM Tool Touch offs).
* Monitors quality of all parts running in cells to ensure parts meet all specifications as per the part print.

General Description

Training Attendance:
Participates in required training sessions focused on child behavior and agency policies.
Site Setup and Cleanup:

Activity Implementation:
Ensures that youth participate in pre-scheduled activities and arrive on time. Prepare alternative activities in case scheduled ones fall through or additional engagement is needed.
Mandated Reporting:
Reports any suspected neglect or abuse of enrolled youth to the New York State Hotlines as required by law. Inform supervisor of any concerns you may have.
Team Leadership:

Safety Reporting:
