As HydroGeoLogic’s (HGL) COO, Mr. Schulein is responsible for successful execution and delivery of projects worldwide. Under his leadership, the company has steadily grown in personnel, revenue, and services earning a ranking in the top 200 Environmental Engineering Firms (ENR). Prior to taking over as the COO, Mr. Schulein was the Engineering and Construction Division Manager.

Mr. Schulein currently serves as a Managing Member of Spectrum Engineering and Environmental, LLC (Spectrum), a wholly owned subsidiary of HGL focused on mining and mine reclamation. Spectrum offers a wide range of science and engineering related capabilities with three decades of Abandoned Mine Reclamation (AMR) experience.
