Vehicle Technology Specialist & Brand Ambassador
Information technology internship job in Aransas Pass, TX
Job DescriptionVehicle Technology Specialist & Brand Ambassador
Location: McGraw Ford, Aransas Pass, TX Industry: Automotive Technology & Consumer Electronics Compensation: High-Performance Commission & Bonus Structure
Forget "Car Sales." Think "Tech Consultant."
The days of kicking tires are over. Today, a Ford F-150 Lightning or Mustang Mach-E has more lines of code than a fighter jet. It is a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot, a semi-autonomous robot (BlueCruise), a portable power plant (Pro Power Onboard), and a safety fortress wrapped in steel.
The modern vehicle is the most expensive, advanced, and complex piece of technology a human being will ever own.
At McGraw Ford, we are building a team of Brand Ambassadors who understand that we aren't just selling transportation anymore. We are selling the future. We are investing millions in a new, state-of-the-art facility to match the level of the product we represent.
The Mission
We don't need "negotiators." We need experts. Your goal is to bridge the gap between our customers and the incredible technology at their fingertips. You will be the guide who turns a confusing dashboard into a command center.
What You Will Do:
The Demo: Conduct high-energy, immersive demonstrations of features like SYNC 4, 360-degree cameras, Trailer Backup Assist, and EV charging ecosystems.
The Consultation: Listen to the customer's lifestyle needs and match them with the machine that solves their problems-whether that's a contractor needing mobile power or a commuter needing hands-free driving.
The Delivery: This is your "Apple Store Genius" moment. You will ensure every customer leaves the lot with their phone paired, their apps downloaded, and a full understanding of their new tech.
The Content: Be a digital ambassador. Use video and social media to showcase new inventory and tech features to the Aransas Pass community.
Who You Are
A Tech Native: You are the person your family calls when they can't fix the Wi-Fi. You love gadgets, you understand software, and you pick up new interfaces instantly.
A Communicator: You can explain complex concepts (like Kilowatt-hours or Adaptive Cruise Control) in plain English to a grandmother or a commercial fisherman.
An Enthusiast: You believe that the American automobile is a marvel of engineering, and that passion is contagious.
Ambitious: You understand that high-end tech commands a high-end income. You want to be paid based on your performance.
Why McGraw Ford?
The New Era: We are one of the fastest-growing Ford dealerships in the country because we embrace the future.
The Facility: You won't be working in a dusty lot. You will be operating out of a multi-million dollar facility designed for the modern consumer experience.
The Training: We will provide you with world-class product training from Ford Motor Company. You will become a certified expert.
Real Talk:
While this is a consultative role, it is a sales career. It requires drive, follow-up, and the ability to ask for the business. But we believe that if you provide a premium experience and expert knowledge, the sale happens naturally.
Are You Ready to Upgrade Your Career?
If you are tired of selling boring products and want to represent the cutting edge of American innovation, we want to meet you.
