In addition to the responsibilities for developing high quality mechanical drawings and specifications, the position involves continuous client service and client contact including on-site meetings and data collection with travel required. The position requires a Bachelor degree in a relevant field. Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is a plus. The position involves use of AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit platforms.

Internship Summary:
The Customer Service Intern supports the daily guest service and event operations of Ascension St. John Sportsplex. This role provides experiential learning through front desk support, guest interaction, and event assistance while observing and participating in facility operations.
This internship is designed as a learning and evaluation opportunity. Successful interns may be considered for future paid customer service or operations roles based on performance, availability, and organizational needs.
The ideal intern is personable, organized, eager to learn, and interested in gaining experience in sports facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests, teams, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner under staff supervision.
Assist as a first point of contact for phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
Support player, coach, and team check-ins for tournaments, leagues, and facility rentals.
Assist with front desk operations, including registration and guest flow.
Observe and support cashless or supervised transactions as applicable.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
Provide guests with basic event and facility information, including schedules and directions.
Support event staff with operational needs such as registration, signage, setup, or breakdown.
Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure consistent guest service.
Learn and uphold facility policies to help maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
