    This position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, and campus property through active patrol, emergency response, and community engagement. This is a temporary 6-9-month position, with varying shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, based on departmental needs. Position responsibilites include: * Patrol campus buildings and grounds to deter crime, prevent theft, vandalism and other violations college policy * Respond to and document all calls for service and violations of college code of conduct and violations of state laws. * Refer incidents to the Office of Student Conduct for disciplinary action, when appropriate, provide direction and information to campus community. * Assist with educational programming and training community members based upon the needs or current trends on campus. * Provide transportation services including campus safety escorts (walking or vehicle), non-emergency medical transports to area medical facilities and other transportation duties as assigned. * Perform other duties as assigned which are necessary to enhance the safety of the campus.
