Qualifications:
To be an Assistant Vitamin Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market you must:
Be at least 18 years of age and a minimum of 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

Trains shift personnel in safety procedures and equipment use, plant operating procedures, and environmental standards and compliance. Implements corporate and plant training programs and ensures continued progress in the programs by shift personnel.
Responsible for the enforcement and administration of the lockout/tagout system, confined space entry program, facility Hot work program as well as other safe work programs.
Performs other administrative duties such as conducting performance appraisals, completing disciplinary forms, accident and equipment damage reports, approval of timesheets, and documentation of attendance and tardiness.
Creates work requests through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Maintains an accurate log of facility operations, activities, and events.
Makes frequent rounds of the facility to ensure proper operation of steam generation and turbine generator equipment, materials storage and handling, facility security, cleanliness, safety, and environmental compliance.
Serves as the Plant Manager's representative during periods when site leadership team is off-site.
Writes reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals as required or directed by facility operations
Decisively and effectively directs personnel during all plant operations conditions including equipment upset conditions and equipment failures.
Completes the Corporate and Plant Training Programs within the time frame prescribed.
Responsible for maintaining acceptable team morale. Fosters and promotes a culture of teamwork and customer service between operational staff and all other plant staff.
Ensures that the facility and all personnel operate safely at all times and promotes an environment whereby safety is a priority.
Reads, understands, and applies information such as, lockout/tagout procedures, safety rules, job hazard analyses, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Communicates clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing; as well as communicates clearly whether using in-situ intercom system, two-way radio, or face to face.
Anticipates typical problems, identifies potential or recurring problems, and takes appropriate action. Troubleshoot equipment and assists in diagnosing problem areas.
Operates other equipment including, but not limited to, industrial forklifts, manlifts, skid steer type loaders, and other mobile equipment.
Thoroughly and promptly investigates any accidents or near misses in conjunction with management team to ensure that any unsafe practices or conditions are addressed and eliminated immediately.

REQUIREMENTS:
A dedicated focus to an outstanding customer experience
Guest service experience in a restaurant or retail environment - 1 year
Supervisory or leadership experience - 6 months or more
PT is a minimum of 15 hours/week; opening, closing, some weekends and holidays
FT 40 hr week, based on needs of the business; opening, closing, some weekends and holidays
Availability at hire to be maintained throughout 90-day probationary period
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have reliable transportation to be at work on time each day
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Ability to lift or assist in lifting to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for 8 or more hours, outside of breaks
Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, twist, stoop, kneel or crouch
Ability to tolerate exposure to a wide variety of fresh, dried and/or frozen products, and powdered substances including but not limited to strawberries, bananas, peanuts, tree nuts (such as almonds) milk, soy, proteins, grains and spices, without posing a direct threat to personal health and safety
Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40 F to -10
