I currently serve as president & CEO of SmithBucklin, the association management and services company more organizations turn to than any other. Our mission is simple: to achieve the missions of the client organizations we serve.In a prior role with SmithBucklin, I served as executive vice president and chief executive of SmithBucklin's Business + Trade Industry Practice. I led all aspects of the practice, including its strategy, client organization service delivery and performance, new client development, talent development and acquisition, operations, financial management and thought leadership. The practice serves trade and professional associations operating in a wide variety of business sectors. Previously with SmithBucklin, I served as executive vice president of the Print Services & Distribution Association, a trade association for the distributor supply chain for print, marketing and business communications. Earlier, I served as a director with the investment banking group of Sikich, (formerly Levi Littell Herbst), assisting small- and mid-sized business owners across a variety of industries. Additionally, I worked as business development lead for NAVTEQ (since acquired by Nokia), where I was instrumental in launching a location-based traffic service for GPS devices.My career has included roles with several professional services firms - and experience in industries including technology, automotive, financial services, health care, print, marketing and manufacturing. The common thread has been serving clients and leading change - including both growth and performance-improvement efforts.
