The goal of the program is to help students bring their foundational academic skills in reading and math up to grade level. SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY * Assist students with daily activities, including academic tasks, social interactions, and personal care as needed. * Provide one-on-one support to students with disabilities, following their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). * Collaborate with the classroom teacher to implement lesson plans and modify instructional materials for diverse learning needs. * Help students understand and complete assignments, providing encouragement and motivation. * Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and assist with conflict resolution. * Monitor student behavior, providing feedback and reporting concerns to the teacher. * Assist in classroom management, ensuring a structured and supportive learning environment. * Help prepare classroom materials and organize resources for lessons and activities. * foster effective communication between students, teachers, and parents, sharing insights about student progress and needs. * Attend meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student performance and IEP goals. * Participate in training and workshops to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices in special education. * Maintain accurate records of student progress and any behavioral incidents as required.
