In 1948, he joined California attorneys Jerry Nemer and Murray Fields and founded a firm to serve the area’s growing, post-war commercial community.
Buchalter Nemer Fields & Younger was established in 1979 when former Los Angeles District attorney and Attorney General of California Evelle Younger joined the practice.
On March 4, 2004, Mianne Bagger, a golfer from Denmark, makes history at the Women’s Australian Open as the first transgender athlete to compete in a professional golf tournament.
In 2005, the firm expanded and deepened its strong regional presence with the acquisition of Arizona-based Anderson Brody Levinson & Weiser, bolstering the firm’s existing strengths in the financial services and real estate sectors.
In January 2010, nine attorneys from San Francisco land use and real estate boutique, Ellman Burke Hoffman and Johnson, joined the firm in San Francisco.
