    This is a clinical position that involves overseeing the clinical functions of a Community Crisis Home (CCH) and/or Enhance Behavior Support Home (EBSH). The QBMP oversees the implementation of the Individual Behavior Support Plan (IBSP) and reviews data on a weekly/monthly basis. This includes but is not limited to conducting a Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA), reviewing proactive and reactive strategies/interventions. Also, providing direct clinical supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Lead RBTs. The QBMP assists the BCBA Director with education and training of the home. The QBMP will interface with the Residential Administrator, Administrator of the home, Regional Center staff, Department of Developmental Services, and the Quality Assurance Specialist associated within the home to ensure the needs of the individuals YAI supports. QBMP is responsible for ensuring that all data is collected and to ensure the work performed by the RBTs and Lead RBTs meets agency standards. The QBMP is involved in the development of the RBTs and Lead RBTs as well as providing feedback for clinical performance evaluations. Job Description: Oversee the implementation of the IBSP and collaborate with the Administrator. Responsible for working directly with the RBTs and Lead RBTs and providing supervision as per BACB guidelines. Will model the approach that emphasizes positive behavior supports, person-centered practices and trauma-informed care in their practice. Utilize best practices when conducting FBA and developing IBSPs. Use objectives to plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions. Employs an array of empirically validate teaching strategies- modeling, incidental teaching, task analysis, chaining, and activity-embedded instructions. Incorporates a variety of techniques to help with skill building- prompting, errorless teaching, maximizing learning opportunities, effective reinforcement, preference assessment and choice procedures. Employ a wide range of strategies for skill acquisition and skill generalization over time and across people, settings, situations, and activities. Completes annual clinical Performance Evaluations. Meets regularly for supervision with the RBTs and Lead RBTs and provide weekly/monthly updates on the IBSP. Responsible for interfacing with the BCBA Director to ensure the clinical needs of the home are being addressed. Will attend and participate in the weekly/monthly clinical review. The QMP is responsible for contributing to the agenda and provide training as necessary. Will assume the clinical responsibilities of Lead RBT in their absence. FFA Case Management Functions: Provides support with therapeutic interventions and structured activities to promote the well-being and development of youth in care. All documentation is maintained through an electronic data management system. Utilizes strategies and interventions pertinent to individual clients, including, but not limited to, culturally relevant practices, traditions, and preferences. Provides clients and/or client's family/supports to coordinate care, and/or referrals for provider care which may include behavioral healthcare, medical care, community resources, and educational, social, judicial, and other tribal/state/federal agency care. Assist clients with Medi-Cal, Medicare, and Partnership applications. Coordinates services with the Purchased Referred Care (PRC) Program. Participates in community events to promote and educate the community on how to utilize client advocates to support their health and wellbeing. Tracks their daily work tasks in a monthly report and submits to direct supervisor monthly. Performs other training and job-related activities as requested by their supervisor. Attends UIHS staff meetings, tribal meetings, community meetings, UIHS board meetings and subcommittee meetings as directed by the Department Manager, Division Director and/or UIHS Chief Executive Officer. Must attain Food Handler's Certificate within one (1) month and maintain. Maintains a professional, organized, clean working environment by following organizational policies, guidelines, and safety standards. Must be willing to learn more about the American Indian culture and attend at least one Cultural Presentation/Training per year. Must be willing to work with American Indian/Alaska Native people and demonstrate cultural awareness and humility Must be willing to deliver services in a culturally responsive manner. In collaboration with the Electronic Health Record Department, designs, maintains and tracks data system management reports. Networks with other resources, including the California Rural Indian Health Board, Tribal Governments, Indian Health Services, and other Indian and non-Indian organizations, to assist UIHS in meeting their goals. Develops and facilitates community trainings, to educate community members on the role of Client Advocates and how to utilize services. Assists in development of policy and procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality improvement activities within the clinic as directed within their scope of work. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Takes patient histories and performs complete physical examinations of patients in clinics and in Mobile Health sites. • Assesses the clinical status of patients. • Orders and performs laboratory and screening tests in accordance with approved protocols or standardized procedures. • Consults with physician preceptor(s). • Formulates problem lists based upon clinical findings, plans and coordinate care. • Recommends and/or administers treatment or medications as approved. • Evaluates patient care according to adopted protocols and Quality Assurance program criteria. • Teaches patients, families, and staff care, prevention, and treatment enhancement techniques. • Prepares and maintains a wide variety of records and reports. • Accurately records patient history, exam notes, medication history, on-going care and referrals in medical record, according to established format. • Attends and participates in meetings and Quality Assurance activities as required. • Responds to patient or co-worker complaints and works toward a positive resolution of any dispute. • Serves as a member of site committees as requested. • Identifies problems related to patient services and makes recommendations for improvement. • Other duties and responsibilities as designated by preceptor(s). QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS: • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish constructive professional working relationships among a diverse workforce. • Ability to work as a member of a team and independently as needed. • Ability to handle difficult or confrontational situations in a calm, consistent, and equitable manner. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. • Ability to effectively represent ODCHC's interests in the community and maintain effective working relationships among co-workers, public, private, and professional groups. • Strong computer skills with specific aptitude in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Electronic Medical Records (EMR). • Adheres to ODCHC's policies and procedures. EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE: • Diploma from an accredited medical school leading to licensing as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: • Eligibility for California Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners license and Board Certification. • Eligibility for DEA license. • Current CPR certification. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None. SUPERVISION AND SUPPORT: The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Resident reports directly to the APC Residency Program Director and is an integral member of the health center's care team. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This is largely an office-based position. The physical requirements described are representative of those needed to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.
