Monitoring how the wind, heat, or cold affect the curing of the concrete throughout the entire process.
Producing rough concrete surface using a broom.
Molding expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge.
Cleaning chipped area, using wire brush and feeling and observing the surface to determine if it is rough or uneven.
Applying hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete and waterproof or restore surface.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Project Foreman performs various tasks within Holcim's civil division to assist the Superintendent and/or Foreman II to complete projects safely, on schedule, and under budget. A Project Foreman should have a good understanding of all tasks that pertain to heavy civil construction.
