Counsel, motivate and discipline individual corpsmembers as appropriate. Participate in staff and corpsmember meetings. Assist with preparation project reports by way of uploading statistical information and work project photos. Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of principles of safety, use of hand and power tools Knowledge of methods of group instruction and motivation. Ability to properly discipline corpsmembers, keep records, prepare reports and communicate effectively with young adults under the supervision of a supervisor. One year of experience in working with young adults from a diverse background OR training through the CCLB as a Corpsmember Specialist, Driver or Crew Leader or other leadership position. Other Duties and Requirements: Must be able to perform physical exercises, heavy lifting and manual labor. DMV print-out, Class C Driver's License with Endorsement (effective July 2017) or Class B Driver's license (or able to obtain within 90 day of employment) and First Aid/CPR certification is required as a condition of employment (or within 30 days of employment).
