As Branch Customer Service this position will serve the customers in a variety of ways. One responsibility will be to drive to deliver product and make pick-ups at customer facilities and branch locations in an efficient, safe manner while also performing the following duties: Receive, ship, unload, organize, stock, and maintain products and material contained in the warehouse. Another essential responsibility will be to assist walk-in customers and counter sales at the store location. This will include shipping and receiving functions in the warehouse; makes quotations on standard items, processes orders, and relays pertinent information to customers; as well as coordinates with other departments in handling purchase orders and provides value added services to customers.

Branch Driver
Drives truck, van, or another vehicle.
Prepare shipments and verify load against shipping paper.
Schedule delivery route, sort, and load delivery items in the most efficient means to be delivered.
Load delivery vehicle in a safe manner ensuring the load will be safe to travel to its destination without damage to product or vehicle.
Handle VMI accounts. You will be required to deliver and stock material at customers' facilities.
Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle. Check all fluids, lights, brakes, and tires, making sure they are serviced regularly. Make sure the vehicle is kept clean both inside and out.
The driver must also assist warehouse personnel when in the warehouse after daily deliveries are completed.
Counter Sales
Receives requests for product selection, price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from customers.
Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible customer service.
Uses corporate ERP system (P21) to retrieve customer information, stock status information, purchase order status, and make changes to customer purchase orders. Ensures that correct codes are used for retrieving and inputting information.
Performs regular “cycle counting” of stock inventory.
Regularly uses hand tools (chop saws, cut-off saws, and hydraulic crimper) to make custom hose-assemblies for walk-in customers.
Must be able to read measurements on a ruler, digital calibrator, tape measure, etc.
Must frequently research part numbers and specifications in vendor catalogs.
Operates the retail counter by handling walk-in cash and credit card sales.

Assist in shipping and receiving functions.
Unload and load trucks for shipments.
Check-in merchandise and verify incoming materials against packing list to ensure accuracy.
Look up and compute inbound freight using zip codes and weight to determine freight costs to be added to customer order in corporate ERP system.
Assemble customer orders according to the pick ticket by pulling parts warehouse shelving and put in appropriate area for shipment to customer.
Quality check orders to ensure correct items are picked and correct shipping method is used before shipping order to customer.
Package customer orders in the best way possible to prevent damage or loss during shipment to customer.
Operate forklift to put away or pull material and in general warehouse duties.
Enter information into corporate ERP system.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment including maintaining aisle ways, keeping warehouse stock neat and orderly, removing trash and recycling to appropriate dumpster.
Wear proper safety equipment for the task being performed.
Use computers to ship customer orders by verifying carrier, freight, and payment method.
Put stock away according to bin location.
