Summary: The Dietary Aide assists with the preparation and service of food using proper food handling and food safety techniques for residents, as well as employees and special events, while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Reports inadequate stock levels to the supervisor in a timely manner. What will I do as a Dietary Aide with Genacross? Review menus in preparation for meal services. Dietary Aide Requirements: Must be at least 16 years of age. Prior experience working in a long-term care setting and with a high-volume food production setting preferred. NEW WAGE: $14.41 Copeland Oaks, a non for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community has openings for casual and part time Diet Aides. Copeland Oaks is located on a beautiful 250-acre village like setting in Sebring Ohio, between Salem and Alliance. The casual diet aide works on average of 12 hours per week and the part time diet aide works 16-29 hours per week. The Diet Aides provide important food services to the residents of independent living, assisted living and long term care skilled nursing; as well as to employees and visitors. Diet Aides set up meal trays and deliver food carts to resident areas and assist in serving meals. Diet Aides also work on various cleaning tasks within the kitchens.
