POSITION OVERVIEW: MKTG Brand Educators are brand enthusiasts that educate consumers on high profile brands during on, off, and experiential special events. They are expected to interact and actively engage consumers at the point of purchase and experience, with the end goal of reinforcing and/or increasing brand awareness. The BE embodies the brand they represent and humanizes the brand as a result. They build consumer trust by providing product knowledge and education. Brand Educators have a wide range of job responsibilities related to engaging consumers to recognize, prefer and purchase our client brands. For this reason, MKTG hires personable, friendly, and professional Brand Educators. In addition to participating in promotional events when selected, BEs are expected to complete regular online trainings regarding our client brands. BEs must have the ability to immerse themselves in order to obtain an extensive level of knowledge including Category, Product Distillation/Production and Brand with the ability to pass exams testing said knowledge. BEs must be able to successfully showcase their knowledge and ability to engage by showcasing a “Final” two to three minute presentation, in order to represent brands at events. This position is an Occasional Employment Position. Being hired as a Brand Educator does not guarantee that the employee will be assigned to any particular quantity of assignments. Brand Educator must sign-off on all required forms and must adhere to all MKTG Policies & Procedures and the NA Diageo Marketing Code. The simulation Education specialist works with faculty to integrate the pedagogy of simulation as the program works to develop entry level practical and registered nurses. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develop a dynamic simulation program including the use of simulation as a substitute for live clinical experiences and as a pedagogy to develop critical thinking, clinical reasoning and clinical judgment. Maintain a calendar for scheduling use of the Simulation Center. Work with faculty to set up the lab for each course, date/time in accordance with lesson plans. Assist faculty to plan and teach nursing simulated clinical experience courses as assigned. May on occasion have to teach the simulation for collaborative simulation for both nursing programs and Allied Health Provide tutoring and remediation for students in lab and clinical skills by appointment. Establish a schedule for open lab hours (outside of class time) for students to walk-in as needed to practice skills with the support and assistance of the Simulation Education Specialist. Maintain an attendance log of students (remediation and walk-ins). Update, maintain and implement the Simulation Center Policy Handbook . Assist with development of a faculty development program regarding the integration of simulation as an active learning strategy and as a substitute for clinical and on the development of debriefing skills. Work with faculty to develop lab experiences based on the student learning outcomes identified for a lesson, lab or clinical day and experiences designed to evaluate attainment of EPSLOs. Work with IT to maintain internet connectivity and ensure audio/video systems are working properly. Work with the Director of Nursing to develop supply kits for incoming students and the lab. Work with Director of Nursing to order upgraded equipment as needed. Work with vendors on maintenance and repairs of high-fidelity manikins and the electronic medication dispensing system. Perform simple repairs on simulators and other lab equipment. Dispose of sharps and hazardous waste as per safety guidelines. Participate on program curriculum and systematic evaluation committees. Assist faculty with skills check offs as needed Other duties as assigned.
