Essential Job Functions:
* Works as directed to ensure that the selection, purchase, preparation, and delivery of all food to all assigned locations is appropriate as to quantity, economy, and within stated quality standards as dictated by governing authorities, including the Health Department, National School Lunch Program, Contract requirements, and CARF.
* Follows menus approved by licensed dietician/Executive Chef and follows weekly meal cycles and meets meal schedules.

Assists in the preparation and serving of food for youth, staff, and guests of the facility in a friendly and efficient manner.

Cleans chuckwagon kitchen area, including cooking and serving dishes and utensils, removal of debris, sweeping and mopping floors, food storage, etc.
Provides assistance to the Cooks to ensure that quality food services and health standards are maintained at all times within the chuckwagon.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The person filling this position must have a high school diploma or GED. Prior food service or commercial kitchen experience is preferred.
