Reconciles and balances all daily cash transactions of the Front Desk. Sees to it that all transactions are posted in the guest ledgers. Reconciles and balances all credit card transactions and reconciles against the guest ledgers. Prints out all accounting reports needed in auditing procedures. Pre-registers incoming guests and cancels pre-registered guests that did not register on required date. Posts room and tax to all in-house guest room accounts. Compiles data and prepares reports to distribute to Hotel Management, the Executive Team, and the Corporate Team. Sees to it that the Front Desk office is kept neat and clean at all times. Performs Front Desk Clerk duties as needed, providing guests with a warm, friendly, and welcoming experience. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Hotel Manager or VP of Hotel Operations. COMPUTER SKILLS Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills. Ability to retain and navigate through several computer applications.
