In 2014, Andy was appointed an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship and Analytics and an Entrepreneur In Residence at Pitt Business. His primary responsibilities in these roles include developing and delivering curriculum at the intersection of analytics and entrepreneurship, mentoring students that are creating new ventures, fostering an entrepreneurial environment, and developing a concept for graduates to be leaders in the blossoming business analytics field. Andy has been an entrepreneur since 1995, a calling that has stayed firmly with him ever since. This is his fifth entrepreneurial venture. He has played leading C-Level roles at four high tech start-ups over the past two decades that touched a range of industries such as information, software, consulting and materials science. Andy worked successfully with prominent venture firms such as Trident Capital, Advent International, Safeguard Scientific, Draper Triangle, and Birchmere.

John Abbatico is a Technology Architect, CTO and CPO at Othot and is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has worked as CTO at Hiperos. John attended Penn State University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Fred Weiss is an edtech CEO, consultant, and strategic advisor, 30 years experience. He currently services as the President, CEO, and as a Board Member at Othot. Prior to Othot, Fred was an executive at the higher ed association, CASE and prior to that he was the President & CEO of iModules Software. Prior to iModules, he served as Senior Vice President at SunGard Higher Education (now Ellucian).

As an effective business leader with over 25 years of experience in manufacturing, technology, pharmaceutical services, construction and engineering industries, I have contributed to the significant growth and expansion of four different companies while holding executive and senior-level positions in finance, accounting, HR, and business management.

I have demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills as I worked directly with executives and managers from across the companies. This close collaboration produced numerous financially sound growth opportunities which met the objectives of our customers and our various business functions, while also ensuring proper financial controls and maintaining the entrepreunial cultures.
