Position Summary:
Washes, stores and stocks all plate ware, glassware, eating utensils, cups, bowls, pots, pans and other small-wares and equipment for the restaurant. Assists in the set-up, operation and cleanup of the interior and exterior of the restaurant. Correctly cleans and maintains the dishwashing machine. Keeps dish machine area clean and sanitary.

Reports to work as indicated on the work schedule and in the correct uniform.
Practices positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts.
Cleans front of the house areas, as assigned. These areas include but are not limited to, floors, bar floors/mats, windows, trashcans and restrooms, prior to opening of the restaurant.
Cleans and performs routine maintenance to the exterior of the building according to housekeeping, cleaning and maintenance schedule established by the Kitchen and other managers.
Sets up and breaks down dish machine, including arms, screens, and baskets on a daily basis. Cleans and polishes machine thoroughly.
Checks dish machine to be sure it is operating correctly and immediately reports any defects to a member of the management team.
Washes, stores and stocks all plateware, glassware, eating utensils, cups, bowls, pots, pans and other small-wares and equipment to ensure sufficient quantities are on hand to meet the needs of thee business.
Checks the water temperature of the dish machine during dishwashing operation to ensure correct temperature.
Removes trash from the dish room and kitchen and places in dumpster regularly throughout the shift. Cleans and sanitizes trash cans and keeps liners in cans at all times.
Checks, removes and replaces full linen bags regularly throughout the shift.
Assists the front and back of the house team members in “spot” cleaning floors, carpeting, walls and other furnishings.
Assists all team members in storing food, equipment, supply, smallwares and other stock items received in the restaurant.
Correctly completes all station closing duties at the end of each shift.
Assists Kitchen Manager and other kitchen personnel in accomplishing closing duties and kitchen cleanliness.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Outgoing, energetic personality with a positive attitude.
Must know how to speak and understand English.
Ability to work varying shifts and maintain attendance in accordance with Company policy.
Must have the ability to pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and have a high level of patience.
Education and Experience:
High School education or equivalent

Position requires extensive interaction with the public and all levels of employees both within and outside of organization.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work in an environment where there may be regular exposure to noise, odors, fumes, temperature fluctuations, grease and other conditions associated with a restaurant.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must be able to constantly stand and exert well-paced mobility for a period up to four hours in length.
Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach and squat on a frequent basis to obtain and store food, beverage items, small-wares and service equipment.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Vision abilities to include: distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral. Also the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to continuously use fingers to bilaterally operate point of sale equipment, prepare and serve food/beverage items.

The Dishwasher washes and sanitizes all tableware, serving materials, cooking equipment and small wares. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business needs.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.15-$19.00.

Responsibilities
Ensures highest sanitation levels for all items previously used so that they may be used again in clean condition, free of any contamination risk.
Utilizes and implements M.S.D.S. criteria, food and product safety, and Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures.
Removes all trash and maintains loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition.
Stocks plates, glasses, pots, utensils and pans after cleaning.
Cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment.
Qualifications
Experience working in a casual and/or fine dining atmosphere helpful.
High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guest in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
