The Training and Education Coordinator I is responsible for supporting the development, coordination, and delivery of training programs and educational activities. This position involves assisting in the planning and implementation of training initiatives, coordinating logistical arrangements, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of training activities. The Training and Education Coordinator I plays a vital role in promoting continuous learning, skill development, and organizational effectiveness.

Essential Functions:

Researches, coordinates and develops materials for use in training staff and educating clients on procedures, rules, regulations, forms, requirements and equipment for area of assignment;
Assists management in the identification of training needs for staff and education for clients;
Collects, compiles, prepares, updates and assembles training and presentation materials and manuals;
Designs new training and education materials and/or updates materials on a regular basis;
Conducts initial training/orientation for newly hired staff to increase understanding of procedures and position responsibilities;
Delivers training to classes and individuals through lectures, demonstrations, exercises and workshops;
Conducts continuing education to comply with changes in federal, state and local regulations, policies and procedures, and to resolve specific performance deficiencies;
Coordinates and investigates compliance with federal, state and/or local policies, laws and regulations and conducts quality control audits and reports on findings;
Participates in the review of productivity levels for activities and staff, analyzes problem areas, identifies training needs and recommends solutions to management;
Assesses implementation of policies and/or procedures and makes recommendations to management regarding changes and/or supplemental training;
Provides additional training as needed, under management direction;
Serves as the technical advisor for interpreting federal, state, and County policies, laws, rules and/or regulations governing are of assignment;
Compiles statistical data and prepares reports for area of assignment for presentation to management and the Board of Supervisors.
Develops and evaluates student surveys/assessments on training/education provided;
Coordinates and maintains training/education materials, audio-visual equipment, laptops, tablets and supplies utilized for training and education;
Maintains manual and computer-based documentation on training and/or education conducted, competency checklists and assessment files.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in, education, business, public administration, government, political science or a field applicable to the department's operations as identified by the department head at the time of recruitment AND one year of professional experience conducting staff/client training and education.
(Relevant experience and/or education from an accredited college or university may be substituted.)
OR:
One year with Pima County as a professional trainer or educator.

Preferred Qualifications: (Be specific in describing your experience in your application. Ensure the descriptions provided illustrate your competencies, specifically addressing the required and preferred qualifications.):
Minimum two (2) years experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and Planner. (Office365 preferred).
Minimum two (2) years experience, in the last five (5) years, delivering election related training programs or similar statutorily required processes.
Minimum one (1) year experience designing and implementing training programs specifically geared toward adult learners outside of an educational institution.
Minimum one (1) year experience working with e-learning development software programs.
Minimum two (2) years experience training adult learners in complicated or technical subjects outside of an educational institution.
Selection Procedure:
Pima County Human Resources Department reserves the right to admit to the selection process only those candidates that meet the minimum qualifications. Candidates meeting the minimum qualifications may be further evaluated/scored against any advertised Preferred Qualifications. Licenses and Certificates: Valid driver license is required at time of application. Valid AZ driver license is required at time of appointment. Failure to obtain and maintain the required licenses and certifications shall be grounds for termination. Maintains current job site including employee relationships, client productivity, and client progress
Coordinates with placement staff by providing job leads and information for consumers ready to move to a community placement
Assists with job coaching needs for placement department
Assists with required documentation and tracking processes
Maintains unit records of consumer contact to include unit counts, attendance sheets, Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan (SOAP) notes and daily checklists
Assists with weekly coordination of site coverage
Implements, reviews, and maintains Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) procedures adhering to department and CCS policies and procedures
May drive agency or personal vehicle on company business

Assists clients with assessment of abilities for appropriate employment

Assists in one-on-one and group training to prepare job seekers for competitive employment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

What You Will Do
* Responsibilities include variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting, Earned Value (EV), Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) development, and latest revised estimate (LRE) development.
* You will also be responsible for providing the internal financial planning (e.g., bookings, sales, profit and cash forecasting and analysis) and billings as well as proactive management of contract funding.
* Program start up and implementation support inclusive of contract modification processing, project setup, and NWA management
* In addition, this position is responsible for actively identifying risks that affect cost and/or schedule and providing proactive analysis of all financial aspects of the projects.
* You will also be responsible for assisting in any proposal activity, such as creating BOEs and gate packages.

The Detainee and Crisis Systems Department is hiring a Rehabilitation Services Coordinator. In this position you will assists the Program Manager with planning, coordinating, and monitoring program activities. This position completes administrative and operational activities associated with highly-specialized programs within Detainee and Crisis Systems including court case tracking and contractor invoice processing. The Advanced Effectors (AE) Product Area, within the Advanced Technology (AT) Strategic Business Unit is seeking an onsite program controls analyst (P3). The analyst will support the execution of a large key strategic development program that will be a future franchise for Raytheon. **What You Will Do**
+ Drive Contractual Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation and maintenance, variance analysis, quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development, EVMS CDRL preparation (IPMR/IPMDAR, CFSR, CSDR), data analysis and reporting, and baseline establishment and maintenance
+ Analyze and review monthly forecasting with program leadership and various functionals
+ Support the monthly financial planning forecast / close process (Rplan), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Long-Range Plan (LRP)
