Responsibilities Participates directly in the performance of all activities required to carrying out contract requirements. Instructs and trains Custodians by continuing example in all aspects of janitorial work. Demonstrates proper methods of waxing, stripping and buffing, general office cleaning, rest room maintenance, vacuuming and shampooing of carpets. Responsible for direct supervision of assigned Custodians. Serves as a role model and inspects for quality and quantity of work performed on a daily basis. Make reports and recommendations as required to Custodial Supervisor or Manager regarding Custodian's performance. Completes recordkeeping regarding Custodian work hours and attendance. Completes regular performance assessments for assigned Custodians. Completes semi annual written performance review for all assigned Custodians. Shares feedback with the person's Employment Specialist, if applicable. Requirements Over two years relevant work experience with knowledge of custodial operations and experience in supervision of others. Valid NYS Driver's license, no moving violations for twelve (12) months prior to hire.
