A shift leader/cashier is responsible for managing team members working within the same shift, distributing tasks, and ensuring that they perform with maximum productivity. Shift leader/cashiers support other cashier lines on collecting cash and reconciliation during the end of shift. They also handle customers' inquiries, resolve concerns, and escalate high-level complaints to the management as needed. A shift leader/cashier must have excellent analytical and communication skills, assisting the store manager in the recruitment processes and training new staff.
