Jeff Marrazzo founded and has led the growth of Spark Therapeutics from a research center within the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to a fully integrated, commercial gene therapy company that is challenging the inevitability of genetic disease by discovering, developing and delivering potential treatments in ways unimaginable - until now.

Under Jeff’s leadership, Spark has developed and commercialized the first gene therapy for a genetic disease in the United States while proving its technology for the delivery of genes as a medicine to both the eye and liver. In less than seven years, Jeff has built an organization of more than 450 colleagues while securing over $1 billion in capital and successfully orchestrating a merger with Roche.

Jeff currently serves as a board member of Life Science Cares Philadelphia and The Rendell Center for Civics and Civic Engagement. Jeff received a B.A. in economics and B.S.E. in systems science and engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a dual M.B.A. / M.P.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard University, a program which he founded.

Cynthia Pussinen is an Exec VP:Technical Ops & Supply Chain at ACTINIUM PHARMACEUTICALS, INC. and Chief Technical Officer at SPARK THERAPEUTICS, INC. and is based in New York, New York. She has worked as Head:Strategic Portfolio Management at Pfizer SAS., Global Head:Supply Chain Logistics at Pfizer SAS., and Senior Director (Development Project Director) at IPSEN. Cynthia works or has worked as Principal/CEO; Life Sciences Executive Specializing in Technical Operations and Business Operations at FinnVictus Strategic Consulting, Event Volunteer at WEST - Women in the Enterprise of Science and Technology, and Mentor at Strategic Operations Inc. She studied at Thames Valley State Technical College, MIT, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 1997 and 2001.

Federico Mingozzi is a Chief Scientific Officer at SPARK THERAPEUTICS, INC. and Research Director 2 (DR2) at INSERM and is based in Greater Philadelphia Area. He has worked as Associate Professor at Université Pierre et Marie Curie – UPMC (Paris 6), Research Associate at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and Head of the Immunology and Liver Gene Transfer Unit at Genethon. Federico studied at University of Ferrara between 1993 and 1998, Drexel University between 2005 and 2006, and University of Ferrara between 2001 and 2003.

Senior executive with broad set of experiences and track record of executing business strategies in corporate finance, business development, legal and compliance, and intellectual property. Executive with demonstrated ability to balance business objectives and legal risk.

Lisa Dalton is a Chief People Officer at SPARK THERAPEUTICS, INC. and is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has worked as Chief Human Resources Officer at SPARK THERAPEUTICS, INC.; Head:HR at SPARK THERAPEUTICS, INC.; and SR. COMPENSATION CONSULTANT at Shire. Lisa attended Rutgers Graduate Business School between 1996 and 1998, Penn State University between 1991 and 1995, and Rutgers Business School between 1996 and 1998.
